I love Moroccan food since I lived there for two-years in the early fifties. I especially love all the recipes from Chef Rachida. It takes me back to the time I lived there!
I have very luckily fumbled on this video, as I have almost decided to cancel any visit to Morocco for the reason that we are a vegetarian family & have been advised that it's really really difficult to get vegetarian food in Morocco. Shall be highly obliged in case you can advise on vegetarian preparations available in Morocco. Regards Rakesh Indian
@@128a51achd I was in Morocco three years ago as a vegan and it was absoluetly possible! There are a number of veggie dishes available, even though the local cuisine is centered around meat. There are vegan/vegetarian Tagines, lots of warm and cold salads, couscous.. We also cooked ourselves a lot, the produce is so fresh and delicious and also cheap! I am planning another trip to Morocco now, it is such a fantastic place. Do not miss it for fear of not being fed, you will be fine! :)
Any tour operator who makes it possible & organises a complete vegan/vegetarian meals(B/L/D) in Morocco & a genuine tour for vegetarian tourists. Not one, where meat is removed from non-vegetarian dishes & presented as vegitarian food. Can someone on this board help reach such a genuine & reasonable tour operators for Morocco. Shall be indebted for a genuine feedback, here or through your contacts.
