I think Don Cheadle might be one of the easier actors’ likenesses to sculpt and get to look good cuz all the Don Cheadle heads, not just in 1/6 scale, do look like him

Love these retro reviews, Justin. Great work. I was hoping to see you compare him to the later versions of War Machine as well. These older diecast figures suffer from being a tad undersized compared to their more recent counterparts.

You mentioned the Captain America color scheme…in my display I have the Iron Patriot with a 3rd party die cast Cap shield to wear. Not movie accurate obviously, but I love the look! Matches perfectly!

Can figures such as the winter soldier from his first appearance have damage even if they are never oppened. I'm thinking of buying the Hot Toys Winter Soldier from Cap 2 but im not sure if he may come damaged due to aging.

I love this adaptation in the mcu. Hot toys killed it with this figure. I’m guessing the reason why a lot of people aren’t a fan of the war machine iron patriot is because in the comics iron patriot is Norman Osborn and some fans would like to keep the two separate. Me personally the two iron patriots we’ve gotten in the mcu have been incredible and I do plan on picking up both iron patriot armors

Maybe he wasn't as popular at the time because in the comic books, Norman Osborn was iron patriot and it was kind of weird they changed war machine to iron patriot and then back to war machine.

Have always loved the iron patriot/war machine design, color and looks. Doesn’t matter if on movie,tv, comic, marvel legends, or hot toys. Think they are all amazing looking even without all the weaponry all over it like later war machines etc.. but hey My dad, my children, nephews, nieces , brothers, sisters and me also wouldn’t be on this earth alive today if my dads pbr boat silk USA flag didn’t save his life after a mortar hit the boat and killed all on board but him and blew him into the river and the flag wrapping itself around him and making a make shift life preserver as he laid knocked out with shrapnel in his spine and body floating in the river for next boat to get him. Which he brought that flag home with him bullet holes and his blood all on it. So I’m pretty bias on anything wearing our flags colors. To me Just think iron patriot is just one my favorite iron man figures color schemes.
