You'll enjoy Mayday in the making it brings in their family and team to the mix which is very cool. Allison Hagendorf does an interview that's extremely good she puts them at ease and they really show their personalities it's fun. These ladies are so sweet and very intelligent love listening to them explain their story. Thanks guys appreciate this one.
If you want more of a documentary on the album Error, react to the Mayday in the Making 1-6 documentary. Each part is only about 5 minutes long, so about 30 minutes total for all 6 parts. Thier parents were never really in the band playing instruments as they do not play any. They meant part of the band as in like management. Now they have a bigger team with management and all instrumental tech support. Nice reaction to this and have a great weekend.
Hi guys, the line about starting out as a five member band, the parents were part of the band was more of an observation that mom and dad were integral in the girls getting into music in general. The parents don't play any instruments, they were rock fans and dad was a sound engineer, so he had that knowledge to contribute, and mom was a dentist and both were super-supportive.
Thank you both for this. I love seeing fans watch these documentaries. They help convey how down to Earth these young women are. And thank you so much for not muting your boxes during the reaction this time. 🙂 I enjoyed hearing your comments.
Their parents never played with them, but they have always been part of the band as supporting team, they did everything else for the band, but writing and performing.
Thanks once again guys...happy to see you doing these wonderful documentaries from the Ladies...they really share everything with us...pretty unusual in this industry for sure... We get a look inside their absolute brilliance as musicians and as siblings...."Sibling Magic" is a perfect connotation of these girls. So much fun to listen to them...they speak 'we are like the girl's next door", so honest and sincere...from their hearts. Never ever seen any "Rock Band" like these ladies in my 70+ years. BTW, the "Martirio" clips (OMV) you saw is absolutely Top Notch video from the ladies...one of their best, hard to say that but it is. So loving this continuing journey through their catalog....there really is a ton of stuff they shared....keep digging through it.
As has been said, the 6 part Mayday in the Making is good, I’ve watched it a million times, figuratively, but note that it does not get into any individual song. There just isn’t anything that is similar to the QOTMS vlogs. They have mentioned little things about recording Error in chats here and there, some are posted on Patreon but they are all over the place among other topics. It would be interesting for us trivia nerds to hear which songs they brought to the recording sessions and which ones got changed the most and all those little details we got for QOTMS. Maybe someday they’ll have time for that.
The CD is in my car and I try FM radio at times but find myself constantly listening to Error. Tired of the same old radio play so I’m listening to the Young Prodigies. Love your coverage of them guys. Cheers!
The vid of Dany and Pau playing classical music when they were 6 and 8, and there's also a vid of Ale playing a piece of classical music when she was 6. There's a lot going on in classical music in the course of just one measure so they think like that when putting a song together. for me this is what sets them apart from a lot of bands today. They are hard wired with classical music sensibilities, why they have such peculiar dynamic arrangements such as HYCAD, Automatic Sun, and even S!CK. This is also why Dany doesn't do many solos and when she does do one it's structured, no improvising. They think like classical music musicians. They are not the only band to do that, Journey, Rush, Kansas, etc, come to mind.
Hey guys - really enjoyed your reaction to this (like all you other ones). As others have said here, Mayday in the Making is a great watch. First off, there is more balance with the girls speaking as there are cuts to them solo speaking throughout. Secondly, MitM definitely gets more into the making of Mayday/Error. Thirdly, you actually get a good amount more insight into their personalities. I really love the sister dynamics. Of course Pau does 90% of the speaking but as in other documentaries, it’s cool to see the hierarchy. Dany is clearly the boss and while Pau may talk over Ale from time to time, she always defers to Dany when she, as the eldest, speaks. Dany, of course, knows and supports Pau doing almost all the talking and she will get Ale engaged at times. And love when they finish thoughts and sentences together. That was fun; definitely give a thought to MitM 6 part documentary. With each episode about 5 minutes long, you can do it all in one video or in 2 or 3 sessions.
I can't count how many times I have seen this video but it is still awesome everyime I watch it. These ladies are amazing and their personalities make you pull for their success even more. I can't wait for this new album! ⚡⚡⚡
Hi guys, nice reaction! There's a video entitled "Playing Survive on RockBand" on The Warning's TH-cam channel that I think you'd enjoy reacting to. First time I watched it; I didn't realize that they were playing one of their own songs! Learning that after the fact made the video even more fun to watch!!
Love this doc! The Mayday in the making series, as the title suggests, is more about the EP and what would ultimately be the Error album. Looking forward to you guys seeing it.
These girls(ladies) amaze me so much, as the consummate professionals that they are! You definately need to check out the Martirio music video and thanks again for reviewing this!
😂 i think this little snippet at 11:14 shows exactly why Ale became "the quiet one" ... she finally has something to say, and the other 2 have to step on her to finish for her -- that look she gives says "dammit, they do this to me all the time" 😂
Their music videos are really good in my opinion…definitely take a look at them. They also have behind the scenes videos for most of them which are pretty cool as well.
First things first. Dany was a Narwal. This was during recording Error, they all had costumes over Halloween. There are various IG clip out there with many of them in costumes including Rudy and David Bendeth. Hilarious 😂 😃
Narwhal Dany is imho just about the cutest and most charming thing the world has witnessed 😍🐳 Other clips with her legendary guitar- dance moves are also so sweet they should come with a diabetes warning label 🙈😄. Adding a link to the Narwhal clip. Kind regards/ NV.
Yea they have never expanded on that “parents were in the band” statement but they have stated they are not musicians. I assume they meant part of their team. Roadies & management & videographers etc. & their team has grown as the brand has grown.
A small moment to note: Ale' reveals a quiet but important aspect of her personality at about 11:00 when she starts to nod in agreement and then at about 11:15 and 14:49 when she "chooses/wants" to speak and she gently lays her hand on Pau's arm and her sisters go quiet and Ale' says her piece and they join in a chorus of agreement. We have all seen this in people in our world who may seem like they have nothing to say or are not "given" the floor, so to speak, but are known by those around them as informed in their own way. Every documentary has these brief Ale' interludes or other indications of the deference to Ale's opinion, skill, or personality given by her sisters and the industry people and team around her.. For a "quiet" unassuming character she also has a seriously large personal fan base that displays its' belief in her all the time. As usual... an excellent observant review by both of you. Take Care David
I agree completely. Ale is more than content to let her sisters (especially Pau) do most of the talking. When Ale feels the need to chime in her sisters, mostly Dany, generally give her the floor. Sometimes Pau can’t help herself and will talk over Ale but that can sometimes garner the evil eye by Ale. I think Pau knows better than to push it too far. What I’ve always noticed about their interpersonal communications is that even though they support each other extremely well, Pau and Ale seem to be closer to each other and will often gang up on Dany for fun and make her the focus of their “inside jokes” especially while performing. It’s likely a normal family dynamic because usually the oldest is the enforcer of the family norms amongst the siblings and is considered as more of an authority figure at times and is the top of the pecking order. We’ve all seen their vlogs and it’s usually Dany trying to herd cats while Pau and Ale are instigating what passes for chaos in the Villarreal family especially during the pandemic when all of us were going stir-crazy.
Great reaction! Now you've gotta do Mayday in the Making (1-6). 6 short episodes about getting signed, making the album, etc. with interviews with their parents, their manager, Lava management and their producer for Error. When they say their parents were part of the band, they don't mean they play anything, they mean their part of the team. It was very confusing to me until I heard the next part when she talked about the other members joining and it being like a big family.
Hey fellas if you do the official videos they are all great but definitely add the enter sandman official video it's really awesome too they do a few things differently plus you can hear more of the background vocals and what they're trying to do, one of the best covers I've ever heard

Yeah, as soon as Free Falling comes on, you can hear immediately that it is definitely a The Warning song.

All three have beautiful teeth...so kudos to mom!!!
The mayday in the making mini series is fantastic, mom and dad and Rudy are in it a bunch too.
I believe The Warning now has at least two and maybe three of their songs now on Rock Band.
Thank you both for this. I love seeing fans watch these documentaries. They help convey how down to Earth these young women are. And thank you so much for not muting your boxes during the reaction this time. 🙂 I enjoyed hearing your comments.
Those onesies were worn in the studio on Halloween (2020)
Their parents never played with them, but they have always been part of the band as supporting team, they did everything else for the band, but writing and performing.
Dany actually said in a vlog her dad played with them, I think I remember seeing a picture of, but it was probably like one time.
