I saw it live on TH-cam as it was streaming and, yes, it was even better than WACKEN because of the crowd. The crowd really got into it more and more as the set went on and they gave the girls a raucous rallying cheer afterwards when the Polish host kept hyping THE WARNING for several minutes. I was so happy for them for receiving so much love from the crowd.
For sure. Apart from their Mexico headline shows of course, Pol’and’Rock is far and away the premier performance. & for a festival. & Their first time in the country. & Being 1am. & Getting an encore…& a serenade from the crowd. Just a magical night.
Everyone (including the warning) was looking forward to them playing at Wacken. The Warning were counting down the days for a whole year. However, it was at this festival unpredictability that became the highlight of that European leg of the tour.
Glad you guys could play this epic performance. The polish crowd absolutely loved TW. I saw the whole stream when it first came out. You guys have to see Commander Pau scream out on Sharks "Open the Pit" and the crowd goes wild!
@@RussInCanada have you seen their show when they opened for the band stryper? It was when they were young, but you might change your mind upon seeing it
There is a contest in Poland called the golden top so that people can vote for a band to come back to the festival and the Warning is one of those bands. If they win the golden top they get invited back.
I just voted. The first round of voting goes until April 7th. I think previous winners had around 9,000 votes so if a good portion of the TWA vote they should be invited back. You can search Golden Spinning Top 2025 to find the site where you can vote.
Great concert, great performance as always from the Ladies (pretty sure Dany's back was still painful from when she hurt it) limiting her usual energetic flair but she gutted it out for the fans. Thanks Guys. Cheers.
Yes, this is a free festival. This is the very reason why the versions of how many people listened to The Warning vary. I have heard from 50 to 300 thousand people. I think the truth is at least 200k.
The best part of this amazing show is when they get ready to play "SHARKS" and PAU commands the fans to "OPEN UP THE PIT"!!! The "MOSH PIT" goes berserk and 'the WARNING" rock the casbah!!! Hope they release it as they did this one! Much love from West Virginia! ❤
i watched the entire "Day 1" 12hour live stream! it started at like 9AM eastern US time, IIRC... DPA/TW performed about 30 minutes after Electric Callboy (stage changes)... there was one more act after DPA/TW when they took the stage for their hour long set at midnight, Poland time... i know it was at least three days long and each day was broadcast via live stream just like this one for Day 1... first time in years that i've listened to anything not done by DPA/TW... really enjoyed it, too! i was surprised to see Less Than Jake there... i hadn't listened to any of their stuff in years... i also never expected to find "Listen to Polish Pop music" on my Bingo card but i certainly did that day! 😸 lyrics in other languages become other instruments for me since i don't speak them... all the performances were very enjoyable and some were quite energetic, too 😉 no way i would have lasted the entire day if i had been there physically... it was fantastic and i really enjoyed myself! my only regret is not turning on OBS and/or having enough drive space to record the entire Day 1 event... Poland Rock Festival must of brought ELO's old *"Spaceship"* lighting. Wasn't there but saw it on TH-cam (full concert around an hour & so - 17 songs) before it was taken down. The Festival was free for the audience. The Warning on at Midnight (local time) with another act following nthem. Pau was so happy to get a good size pit for *"Sharks".* Yes. It was a great show since they played nearly all KMF (except Burnout & Apologize). And that *"Spaceship"* looked great. Too bad they didn't either have a tech to run it correct. Or it just doesn't operate like a *"Spaceship"* and it's nothing but window dressing. No matter what. Love looking at those lights.

There is no entrance fee for the festival. TW played there at midnight after Electric Callboy. I think the absolute majority there didn't even know them. If I remember the schedule correctly, there were 2 others on stage after them. That was also the big difference to Wacken, where they were on the first festival day in the early evening. Many visitors were still arriving, setting up tents or exploring the area. So there were still many movements on the grounds. th-cam.com/video/wm1yqJKZ4wM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PIETSZXnBXRfSSTN
I watched the livestream. After "Sharks", where Pau COMMANDED the crowd to "Open the Pit", the crowd went nuts and starting chanting sth in polish. Now I know what they were chanting, but back then I had no clue, neither the girls. Still confused they smiled, thank the crowd and played back to back HYCAD and Automatic Sun. By the end of AS they left the stage. The crowd was even more stoked and asked the girls to comeback, which they did to close the night with Narcisista and Evolve. By then the polish crowd was already in love with them. Epic concert. ⚡🇲🇽🇵🇱⚡
@mexicanopolis9390 Yes, that's right, someone from Poland told me the same thing. And the look on Pau's face was priceless 😊 She probably thought at first that they they did not like them, then she started smiling.
It was the number one festival show of the year, with great technical quality of lights and sound. They played at the main time, and were very pampered by the organization and the public who sang TW a song of good omens. We enjoyed the live broadcast recital like at the Wacken Open Air. Let's hope they can return next year (if war doesn't break out in Europe with their stupid NATO and Russia).
First, I love your reactions and insight. I'm glad that I subscribed. 🙂 Now my rant. Haha ... In this digital age, it boggles my mind why entities, like KreciolaTV, hold back in releasing concert footage (and other stuff). There quickly comes a point when waiting to release something directly affects views, and revenue, in a negative way. For instance, if they would've released this track three months ago, it would've had hundreds of thousands of views within a week or two. Unfortunately, they waited, and it only has 22K (as I write this)... To be fair, though, Republic Records may have had their hands in this. But, it still doesn't make any logical sense in 2024.

This seems to be the second release by Kreciola TV (official broadcaster for Poland Rock, I believe) of a song by The Warning. The first was "Disciple" about 3 months ago (over 350k views by now). So this may indicate an intention (by the broadcaster) to release more songs over time. With thanks to ardent fans who release mobile phone footage on TH-cam, I had been watching snippets of every performance during The Warning's recent European tour. And I had been waiting for them to get a nightime festival slot. It finally happened at Poland Rock, and the result was amazing.

I do not think DPA were prepared for the size of the festival. They played in Wacken the previous day which they most probably (but wrongly) thought the biggest venue of the tour. They must have realized only on site how big Pol'and'Rock is. And not even fully as their sound engineer estimated the crowd to 50k when according to the Polish sources it was 3-4 times bigger. But it was the very size and enthusiasm of the crowd that made them play so fantastic that night even with all the tiredness and Dany's back pain. I do thank them for that. I have the full stream saved and watch it regularly.
@SDsailor7 Yes. I may have misremembered. He also said the peak crowd that day was 200k, while the organizers estimated it at 450k. So you see the pattern.
