The code reader I have is just a cheap one off Ebay.

My truck was behaving the same way, once the scan tool was used the fuel pump came up as the result.
Is yours a 2.5 or 2.2?

New maf sensor and a new primer bulb 👍
My vivaro starts and runs for 2 seconds then stops no air in the system primer bulb good found that the problem was a dead fuel tank pump motor.

What sensor did you change?, fuel rail pressure sensor?, also check the fuel primer bulb for cracks or splits letting air in.
