Thank you guys so much for checking out the game. I've been a fan of GT for the longest time and it's surreal to see a theory come from something I made. Thank you all
ok but think about it if it does happen we may just get wheatly from portal 2. even though we don't know what the game hold but if he is evil I just hope he'll just be like wheatly
i mean...could be an alternate personality? like he is presumably sentient, and was alone....for 8 years.....asuming best estimates on normal human resiliance...well i think willson rings a bell don't you, could very well be that Rambly isn't evil...but also is but also isnt
I feel like everyone is forgetting UniqueGeese’s video when he revealed some characters. He said the cast *tolerates* Lloyd. Lloyd genuinely thinks he’s better than everyone else. I don’t think Rambley hates him for a specific reason, just that he got tired of Lloyd and doesn’t bother to hide it anymore. Also, when Rambley got “jealous” of the throwback plushie, he wasn’t necessarily jealous, but mad that Lloyd got one and no one else. In the original clip he’s says “Where’s my limited edition throwback plush? Where’s Mollie’s? Where’s Finley’s?!” He’s mad his friends didn’t get one either. Last thing before this gets too long. In the music video where he turns Mollie back, I don’t think he’s lying or covering anything up. I think it’s his ideal. In his imagination, he’s able to turn Mollie back to normal and get his friend back, pretending all the bad stuff didn’t happen. Rambley isn’t evil, but tries to downplay everything in his head or play dumb, pretending everything is fine and okay and still tries to let the player have fun. In this chapter at least since in the end he admits it. Maybe in chapter 2 he’ll be a bit more aware and face the issues with his friends (and Lloyd) and the park.
I'm almost positive that Lloyd was the original main mascot and was replaced. It feels pretty obviously hinted at, especially with the "i feel like Indigo used to use Lloyd a lot more" and the statue of Lloyd replaced by Rambley
YOOO! I saw this right around the clip of the intro video, and I am 100% positive your right. It shows Lloyd right where Rambley is now painted on. Around 2:33 or so is the video with the "after" and "before" clips
I don't agree with this. I feel like the reverse, where Lloyd was the one whose stage presence was being pushed, makes more sense. They may have been trying to replace Rambley, but without Rambley's permission. Either that, or maybe Lloyd's boisterous attitude just got on Rambley's nerves, much like how the shyness of a certain sea serpent is something that Rambley finds annoying. You can help someone get over their shyness, but dealing with boisterous arrogance is another thing entirely. Third option: Rambley's an AI. Some programmers are jerks. Maybe some Lloyd-hater programmed Rambley to be a hater as well. Rambley might not even realize that he didn't have a choice _but_ to hate Lloyd.
@@LucanVaris The intro video clearly shows that where Rambley's face should be at the entrance actually shows Lloyd instead so when the park first opened it most likely Lloyd was the original main character. Not to mention the statue and the sign in the railroad saying 'Lloyd's Limos' so it's more that Lloyd was the main stage character at first but at some point Rambley replaced him as the main mascot and Lloyd was pushed to the sidelines along with everything that pushed his name front and center like the on rails ride and the statue that would stand next to Issac Indigo himself. Why Rambley has his issues with Lloyd is anyone's guess but we'll probably find out in future chapters,. But I'm guessing he was either programmed that way or something happened that caused Rambley to have a negative opinion of him, might also tie into why Lloyd was replaced by Rambley in the first place as well.
@@LucanVaris no, it shows in old footage lloyd where rambley now is. and lloyd is shown given rambley the deed of the park the way it was in disneyland. theres nothing to disagree with proof
I had originally thought the same about Rambley, but after watching multiple Unique Geese streams, he makes it clear that Rambley will not be a villain
@@Balincia20Yeah, and there is some explanations for the evidence in this theory that tell us that Rambley is not evil, and currently Unique Geese has confirmed that he won’t be evil.
Rambley will probably just be oblivious until the end and have a “what have I done” moment. He is restricted by the tv screens after all! Who knows what little he knows
I don't think Rambley thinks of the mascots as the same individuals they represent. When he mentions them in his "I'm sorry" speech, he says "The mascots are..." not "My friends are..."
that's what I think too, I mean, the way he didn't react when decapitating Mollie kinda showed that the mascots aren't the real Mollie, Finley, Salem and Lloyd.
Rambley acts more like the animator, or in this case, the programmer than the mascot. And so “Rambley” is just a mask for the identity of the programmer who may stop ‘you’ in the later chapters from thwarting his/her plans. And then the programmer may just reveal their true identity, either in completing Rambley’s body or revealing him/herself if the programmer is still alive back then. The programmer may be around the age of the current character we play as and had worked with Indigo himself before passing. And so jealousy stirs after still hearing his name, like how Disney is in all products, and not their own names.
@@benjaminrobinson3842You’re right. Disney himself was the original voice of Mickey Mouse. In retrospect, Isaac Indigo could have been the voice of Rambley.
To be fair would the creator outright say that the innocent looking raccoon is the twist villain. (Though I really don't want him to be the antagonist)
I'm pretty sure this script was done really fast after the game was released so I wouldn't be surprised that Tom didn't even know Dev Commentaries existed
I LOVE RAMBLY but awnsetly I would love it if he turned evil cuz it would actually be a twist that pulls your heart strings also the creator didn't say he won't be evil because he can't confirm anything
“Not Rambley! He hurts Lloyd, He hurts Lloyd, HE HAUUEURRRTTSS LYYIOUDD” is likely about an employee wearing a Rambley mask. I recommend watching Datchia’s shorts and video about IP. They do a really good job with their theories, pretty similar style to GT too.
I think "Not Rambley!" and "He hurt Lloyd" are Mollie repeating what she's heard. Mollie can only repeat words. "not rambley" is maybe something someone said upon seeing Rambley hurt,
I don’t think Rambley is evil. If you look at the characters as children of the park itself it explains a lot; Mollie is like the extraverted and clumsy kid who’s just having fun while Finley is the introverted and shy kid who prefers to be left alone, and Lloyd is like the golden child who gets most of the attention. Rambley is like the kid in the family who gets pushed to the side and doesn’t feel loved
That would make sense, if it wasn't for the surprising amount of memorabilia and rides that Rambley has. so putting him as pushed aside and forgotten just doesn't fit in well.
When you walk past the broken mollie statue and it says some glitchy stuff, its hard to make out but I swear she says "don't trust rambley, he hurts lloyd (x2)". Could be a fake-out though? Edit: he literally mentions this in the video, whoops
16:46 I don't think he's trying to convince US of that "alternative interpretation" of the game's events in the music video. I think it's more that he's convincing HIMSELF, ie repressing the memory of that brutal decapitation, which is a possible response to trauma. Rambley killed Mollie when he shut the door, but he's trying to reject that memory, because he Mollie (the character at least) was a friend to him and he refuses to believe that he could do her harm.
in the official music video for the end credits song it shows the events of the game and when it gets to Molly's decapitation it shows rambley using magic to bring her to her senses instead
i can see that, i don't exactly think he's evil. he's def hurting about not being able to have his own corporeal body but I don't think he's trying to trick the player. uniquegeese also said on twitter at some point that he wants his indie mascot game to not be the same as others, and the main "character" turning out to be "evil" is overused, so I fw this theory.
Something Game Theory missed: Before we go backstage Rmbley says "I've got eyes all over the park but I can't see anything backstage. If you're going back there, be careful. Your critter cuff is not yet able to resuscitate you." To resuscitate means (in this case) to "revive (someone) from unconsciousness or apparent death", meaning he KNEW something bad might happen to us. I still don't think Rambley is evil. He is good boy :3
Yea, plus it also implies he might NOT know the mascots are aggressive until he sees us running to the employee only area, or that his memory of that was deleted or altered at some point, as he wouldn't see loyd trying to attack us Also why would it be a possible function but not one of the first functions unlocked? Also the creator confirmed that rambly will NOT turn evil on us
I think they overlooked something, In loyds mane stage, in the back, there is a statue of loyd, like they used to use it and then replaced it with the one we see! This could mean that loyd was the main mascot, but then rambaly somehow took over. Also the critter cuff scaring Loyd away could be how rambaly is "hurting" loyd physicly.
Rambley...is not...hurting...Lloyd! The line says a THING is hurting and is DIRECTED at Lloyd. The line is "it hurts, Lloyd." Also, the line starts with "...not Rambley."
This actually makes a lot of sense, especially with that framed picture of Rambley and Lloyd shaking hands. In the picture, Lloyd is handing Rambley a piece of paper, which I believe is the "deed" to the park. Why do I think this? The picture is a clever nod to a similar picture found on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The ride used to be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and a nod to the old attraction can be found with Mr. Toad handing the deed to the land to Owl, much in the same way as the picture of Lloyd and Rambley. That coupled with the retro Lloyd plush pretty much proves that Lloyd is a character that is older than most of the other characters, but Rambley would come in to become the modern mascot for the park and most likely the animation studio as well.
Thing is, Mason himself directly stated that Rambley was the main man since day 1 And their cartoons were called Rambley and Pals Now, Lloyd replacing Rambley? That's possible and something the arrogant cat would try and do
My biggest problem with this theory is that in a newspaper clipping, it said "Mysteriously closed", even if they tried to clear up the massacre, witnesses would exist, my theory is that it was one attack, most likely Loyd or Molly, that attacked one person, and that made it close.
To be fair, Rambley was also upset that Finley and Mollie didn't get their own retro merch either. The hostility towards Lloyd might be misplaced, that their team dynamic had been upset with Lloyd getting, well, center stage (which would've been a corporate decision, but Rambley might be incapable of bad feelings towards the company).
I think when Molly says that Rambley hurts Lloyd she is mentioning the critter cuff. When the player gets jump scared by Lloyd there is the frequency that scares him off. If you look Lloyd covers his ears as if it physically hurts him. 5:00 I think that maybe Rambley uses the critter cuffs to harm him as they would be all around the park cause they are required to enter the park.
I can agree with you, but I also kind of think that when she does say that, even if it's random diologe, I still kind of think that she's talking about the humans in the Rambly costume. Because these characters were introduced before the AI character, so she could've been talking about the humans in the Rambly costume... but that's just a theory...
The creator literally said he wouldn’t become evil or betray the player… Honestly at this point it would be more original if the ai didn’t betray the human.
tbh, it could very well be misdirection e.g. "our" rambley won't be evil, but a corrupted version of him will be, which will be a different entity, and therefore not be lying ;P like I can totally imagine him trying to fight for control, while we have to avoid danger, and like maybe reach a certain point and push some button or something, to let him win
Yeah the whole "character who acts like a friend turns out to be evil" trope is so frickin overused, I'm glad it was confirmed that he won't be evil, at least he himself won't be
I saw a theory by @SuperRocker that Lloyd was the original mascot of Indigo Park. This is because of a picture of Lloyd handing Rambly a deed, along with a discard statue of Lloyd similar to the one of Rambly, and graffiti showing what may be the original name for Rambly's Railway, Lloyd's Limos
Yeah, that's even a specific reference to an easter egg in Owl's house on the Winnie-the-Pooh ride at Disneyland--the ride building used to hold Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, so there's a photo of Mr. Toad handing a deed to Owl.
@@Dr.Robotnick "I feel like Indigo used him more as a kid" is not the same as "he used to be the main mascot of the park" much like how "all but confirms it" is not the same as "literally confirms it"
conveniently ignored. idk, im pretty sure game theory has no reason to fake theories, especially if some or most stuff is correct. maybe just a mistake?
That plus exaggerating everything. I think they are forgetting that he has been alone for 8 or so years and he has gained sentience. Rambley is frien not foe!!!!
I can see how Rambley could become the main antagonist, this game has a bit of a Portal vibe, and he could be a Wheatley-like character. The comic relief ally who becomes the main antagonist cause they're corrupted by negative emotions. Also, I believe it was Rambley who triggered that high-pitched sound on your Critter Cuff to scare away Lloyd, so that's probably what the Molly robot meant by, "He hurts Lloyd".
He likely wasn't confined to the entrance but we don't know how much power the park had prior to the players arrival. He may not have had vision in the interior of the park as well as he did after we get in. And he may have been a new addition to the park or an old one, we don't know when they programmed in the ai guide to the park.
I'll throw my hat in this ring: What if Rambley just doesn't see the monsters as his friends? Think about it. "All of my friends are united again" after Molly's been guillotined. That ain't happening, unless that's not who he's talking about. The Molly in the cage exists separate to the one corrupted at the end of the level. Yes, could be a reference to the monster being caged between performances, or it could be a reference to the Molly AI shelved in favor of the living mascot. It could even explain some of the beef between Rambley and Lloyd. Imagine Rambley having to keep playing his role with this living thing replacing his friend. Same character, sure, but not the same individual. I'm sure he'd get sick of the act before long. Salem might even be on the same side, here. Instead of corrupting characters because 'Mwahaha, evil', they're trying to deliberately engineer the kind of scandal that would see the living mascots retired for good. Either they overshot the mark, or the humans were so determined to keep the living version that they worked around it via the critter cuff instead. Admittedly, the retro plush and rambleberry comments don't really sound like Rambley had any issue with the living versions. Although the comment on the rambleberry, given that it came out of a machine could be that it could go back into a machine, though that's definitely a stretch.
Rambley made it pretty clear he can't recognize someone after they've aged when he didn't recognize Ed even though Ed admits he was at the park regularly as a kid. The mascots have changed so drastically from what they were in their heyday and are missing their personalities, clothes, and ability to speak. He admitted he was stuck in the entrance for the entire 8 years so he likely doesn't recognize those ARE his friends.
Since the Rambleberry came from the arcade machine, and Rambley has SHOWN that he's capable of jumping between screens and manipulating machinery, I wonder why he didn't just "jump into" the game to eat one himself?
A lot of that actually makes sense. The only problem with it would be the train ride. He interacts with the other mascots in each area. But maybe that was just a pre recorded message for the ride.
@@puglife658didn't he say that he won't "turn evil"? Technically you can't turn evil if you're already evil. (Honestly, I really hope he's not evil in any way.)
I'd like to mention that in the intro video with Issac Indigo opening the park, the only mascot shown in the background was Lloyd. PLUS the mascot was painted near the entrance gate, but in the present, a Rambley mural replaced Lloyd's mural in the same spot. I think Rambley replaced Lloyd, not the other way around. And there is more evidence to support this theory like the old Lloyd statue backstage. on the
I honestly think Rambley could end up being the villain by *mistake* Think of it, he’s coded like a child, excited he finally has someone to play with so much so that he pushes everything else aside so he can have fun with his new playmate. He’s so blinded by everything else going on because he is happy there’s finally someone to play with and talk to. He will be the “villain” by mistake.
My personal thought is that Rambley has been programmed with false information from the get go. Not anything of his own fault. One major example, he gets upset about Lloyd, but there's clear evidence that Rambley was not the original mascot of the park to begin with. His annoyance with Lloyd's popularity seems to clash against that knowledge, like he himself doesn't actually know Lloyd gets throwbacks because he's the true "Mickey" of the company. He may have to learn the hard way that a lot of stuff he knows just isn't true. He'll work with you to do things that you probably shouldn't be doing, but he doesn't know any better.
@@yomama9390unfortunately Mason stated directly in the Meet the Cast video that Rambley was the main mascot since the park opened And that he and his friends are just annoyed at their mutual friend Lloyd's arrogance As for Rambley being coded with false information? That is possible but I personally believe it's just that his software is depricated after 8 years of being abandoned
@@_StarlightRose_ Well, that implies something even more dire... It would mean that before the park was closed, but before they were able to carry it out, Rambley was about to get REPLACED by Lloyd as the face of the park.
@@_StarlightRose_ Having gone back to look, it does look like they replaced a Lloyd picture in the original "indigo park opening" video with Rambley in the modern one, but who knows what story they could be trying to build around that. In the game universe, Lloyd is still considered the popular one even with Rambley front and center.
one thing almost no one noticed is that behind the mane stage rambley says that he cant see you there but if you take a look there are a lot of cameras stalking you
Sorry to cut you down here, but UniqueGeese said on stream that Rambley is not evil. Now, he could just be saying this to not reveal anything, but I’m pretty doubtful. Edit: I just checked to prove it, it’s at his “Matpat played my game?!” Stream at 2:28:48
The creator of the game has confirmed multiple times over and over rambley isn't the villain And hes also confirmed that the animatronic mollie isnt saying "he hurt Lloyd" It's basically if Scott said that William Afton is a villian and has killed children, but then you go and say hes innocent
it's easy to get punctuation wrong, it's possible that the line's instead e.g. "he's hurt, lloyd!" or maybe it's just a coincidence it sounds like legitimate words, and was never meant to have any meaning in the random glitching out, lol
@@marcopeter7581 probably not so much lying as misleading e.g. rambley won't be the villain, a corrupted version of him will be, which would technically be a different entity, and therefore not necessarily lying, since "our" rambley isn't bad ;P
this video's thumbnail inspired an entire fan character called twimbly with a whole personality and voice he's essentially just an evil rambley varient with killer eyeliner thank you GT never change
If it matters any, UniqueGeese stated specifically that Rambley will not be evil. He says it during the video he made watching Matt play through Indigo Park as a response to a viewer question.
You guys actually missed a something which could shift who replaced who between Rambly and Lloyd, In Lloyd segment there's a Golden Lloyd stature similar to the Rambley statue with Issac Indigo which could either further prove that Rambley replaced Lloyd or the opposite that Lloyd could've tried to replace Rambley at some point and the statue was hidden from Rambley in the one place he can't see into in the game thus far.
@@-Lyric_Central- I think that’s hinting towards a different villain. Cuz rambley isn’t going to get anything out of lying to us about not being able to see us. And it makes sense. They aren’t about to give this guy a Disney princess song and make him a twist villain. This ain’t Disney’s “Wish”
Another thing that supports this is that if you look in the storage place where you are attacked by Lloyd, there is a bronze statue similar to the one of rambley near the gates, likely implying that Lloyd was the initial mascot instead of Rambley
I feel like one detail that got overlooked is the Lloyd's Limos sign in both the backstage area as well as, more importantly, Rambley's Railroad. It kinda feels like Rambley's ride replaced that of Lloyd and pushed him to the sidelines instead of the other way around.
It’s such an honor to be a part of such an ambitious and amazing project. And the fact that GT thought it was worthy of a deep dive is absolutely incredible. Thank you all so much for your support and we hope to see you for Indigo Park Chapter 2!!!💜
15:14 I'd probably think so too if UniqueGeese hadn't already said he doesn't plan on making Rambly the villain and pretty much coded to be child like in the game.
Let’s not forget about Finley the sea serpent, we see a small glimpse of him at the end of chapter 1 at Oceanic Odyssey. if you look out the window to your left, and then move to your left, even more to the other window, you’ll be able to see his face. I’m so excited for chapter 2! Hopefully we get to see Salem and Finley get the spotlight!
Didn't a main writer for the story confirm that the reason Rambley's memory of the chase scene ending was like that is because Rambley didn't want to think about killing his friend?
The staff uses the rambley costume(which is with the rambley mask) and abuses the mascots which is why the animatronic macaw says that rambley hurt lloyd
There has always been the pervasive rumour that Disney froze his head to be brought back later. What if this analogue actually did it and became rambly or similar
Another spooky thing to add (I haven’t played the game myself, but I saw it on another channel) is that in the room where you are on a computer, Rambley say “let me get a good look at you” and THE CAMERA LIGHT TURNS ON.
The picture frame of rambley and lloyd is actually reminiscent of a picture frame of Winnie the Pooh and Mr. Toad shaking hands on a Winnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland, where Winnie the Pooh’s attraction replaced the Mr. Toad attraction.
Even though game theory has done the "the good guy is the villain" thing a lot,' this theory was a bit...grasping at straws. Rambily even mentioned that he kept quiet about knowing what happened because he didn't think the damage was that bad and wanted us to enjoy ourselves. I feel like it's almost as bad as that "sans is-ness" thing.....okay, maybe not as bad, but still. Justice for my boy!!!
One thing I haven’t seen mentioned yet is how Rambly admitted that he does not recognize the player, he references in the beginning how Ed’s face isn’t in the database, yet we are made aware that Ed has been to the park before when he was younger, yes it could just be due to the fact that he aged since then and is an adult rather than a kid now, but it’s still something to think about
Clever point to bring up, especially after it was established that the protagonist was not only a prior guest but one who had visited enough to recognize various stages of park design progression, like Molly's mascot introduction with his mother, not to mention having consistent access to BirdUp outside of the park, if the cups and cans on the desk are to be believed. Even with an eight year difference, unless his last visit was before puberty, I can't imagine the biometrics of his face having transformed THAT much to not be recognized by advanced tracking software.
I love the idea of Salem being a secret good guy (I thought their character design was the coolest for sure), but I guess wel will find out more when the second and more chapters release.
Sooooo...looking back at the new update of Indigo Park we ended up gettign more pieces of information that confirms the Animal Lab and Cage theory. There are codes scareted aroung Chapter 1 and deciphering those codes you get passwords, and using passwords into a special panel in the menu, I think, you get images. 1. A pic of the bloody mess left after Molly get decapitated, but we see a path of blood. This might suggest someone drag her body out. 2. A pic of the Theather where you first see Lloyd, but there's the blood path. Maybe that "Lloyd" found Molly's body and drag in all the way to his place? 3. A pic of Lloyd in a cage. This reinforces the theory of these mascots getting locked. 4. A pic of a lab with a scale, an egg and a monitor showing data of a Macaw. These animals are experiments and there is indeed a lab facility somewhere around the park!
The fact UniqueGeese gets so excited anytime GTLive and Game Theory touch what he’s worked on is so wholesome as well! He’s done live reactions to both the Reincarinated playthrough one and Indigo Park playthrough- I don’t doubt he’ll have one soon with this 👀👀👀 Update: he tweeted he’s doing a reaction video!!!
i thought the cannon answer of Rambley lies is he does not know. as he is programed to not be able to register or know anything not safe for the parks image. so he literally can't see the blood and corpses. he is unable due to his programing to actualy understand the situation unless a visitor is directly in danger or interacting with something. and only remembers that as long as it's needed for the situation to be resolved.
my only real complaint about this so far, is when he's all upset about the retro lloyd plush, he's also mad that Finley and Molly didn't have any either. i don't think he's upset with the other two, i'm not sure if molly's death was intentional, he only Really seems to be upset with Lloyd and all the attention he specifically got. though i will admit i am biased and don't want the cute trash panda to be evil lol
@@arcage_0132 For clarity my earlier comment served two purposes: the first was that I believed the comment I "commented on" and Tom, believed the current mascots were animals experimented on that transformed into their current incarnations, which was what I wasn't sure on. The other was so I could use a rarely applicable Jurassic Park quote
15:00 nobody is gonna wanna hear this cause Unique Geese literally said on stream that Rambly is not gonna be a villan. From the mouth of the creator himself lol
Im not going to lie, i dont 100% believe this, but i WANT to believe, I HOPE Rambley isnt evil. But i also think that Rambley is obsessed with restoring the park to such a degree that he may not see the wrong in his idea intill much later, at which point he hopefully changes his plan. But i dunno, thats just my thoughts and fanfictions
Does Rambley need to be made into a flesh-and-blood mascot through mutation or however the others were made? The fact that a pixelated Rambleberry literally popped out of the arcade cabinet makes me think Rambley might be able to do the same thing.
16:35 COUNTER-THEORY!! Rambley has been described as "child-like" by the game dev himself. Children often use their imaginations to process their trauma. Whose to say that Rambley didn't use his limited, child-like intelligence to justify what happened to Molly? That he really did believe Molly turned back into his old self instead of admitting the horror of what truly happened?
That mask dialogue is a reference to Dayshift at Freddy's. It's obvious because of 'Old Sport' which is something Dave always says. You can also hear it in the way they voice the characters. I think this is because this was one of Uniquegeese's favorite FNAF fangames
Lloyd might have been the old main mascot of Indigo Park. There is a golden Lloyd statue in the back of the theater, matching the design of the golden rambley statue that is outside. Also an old sign in rambley's railroad reveals it used to be Lloyd's limo.
Maybe not evil, but may have a hidden agenda for wanting the player character to stay. Besides him wanting the player to fix up the park. But I guess we will have to wait and see when the other chapters are released
@nikkowats4689 it was pretty obvious that he did that in the first chapter with the rambley Tuesday shtick and the over excitement of a new guest, he even admits that after killing mollie
12:57 little thing I’ll note on this theory that might somewhat disprove it a TAD- is that rambley also says “WHERES MOLLYS?! WHERES FINLYS?!” he still thinks about Molly and Finley! (I don’t know if I wrote their names, right-)
A little detail I noticed was in the surveillance room after the Molly chase their are two files on the desk, both of these files have the date "10/5/20XX" on them. This implies that these files are only two days old, and maybe even that there is someone else in the park watching you through the cameras
It's possible that there's more than one AI active. It would make sense if Salem is also an AI. However, I do think that there are is an AI Salem and a living mascot Salem. The same goes for Rambley too. So Salem could be working with her living mascot counterpart to get rid of the player. Or there's a secret organization, similar to the SCP Foundation, whose job is to cover up anomalyous activity.
Rambley actually seems like the replacing force, we see old bronze Lloyd statue similar to the one at the entrance with Isaac, like Rambley took over, also plush suggests Lloyd was here earlier, and "He hurts Lloyd", it's about critter cuff, Rambley lies, there is camera at the backstage, he sees us, and chooses the moment to activate dog whistle. But it's indeed the fact that he's still jealous
i decided to go through old indigo park videos form uniquegeese and found one thing that stuck out to me, and i quote: "and its something that i think the indigo park dev team, we need to be taking a look at, because it's exactly like what were going for. it's like these animals have been mistreated and they're f-ed up, you know?" (video: indie horror is about to change forever, in the zoochosis clip.) also apparently loyd does have a va, which supposedly means he'll talk at some point. (edit: i realize loyd does talk i n rambleys railroad, so nvm that)
I used to think Rambley being evil would be annoying, but now I’m more positive about this. I believe the part about his friends being “United again” means that he’s going to make fake AI versions of them as you continue your journey.
18:10 "Where's Molly's? Where's Finley's?" those lines following Rambley's ramble about Loid's make it go from "I want MY limited edition throwback plush!" to the more legitimate question of "Why is LOID the only one who got a limited edition throwback plush?". I think it's a legit question because in the narrative being presented there's no reason for a throwback only for Loid. There's also the fact than Rambley even though about the other 2. I don't think someone as mad as Rambley sound would care about others in their egoistics reasoning.
Maybe because, Rambley was getting less attention compared to the new mascots, the employees had to reprogram him to become more wary about his lack of attention so he could generate new idea to become more noticed, which is why he lies. I mean, I’m pretty sure Indigo management wouldn’t be happy if their trademarked mascot was forgotten by guests.
One part of me wants to believe that Rambley is just a silly little guy :( BUT the other part of me is suspicious that he's lying and Rambley isn't so silly-

Unique Geese confirmed Rambly has the mind of a child. Meaning if he is evil, he’s not meaning to or he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
It makes me think that Rambley would become a prominent secondary character with anti-hero qualities.
I could see him as potentially a non-evil antagonist trying to keep the player in the park so he’s not alone again.
ok but think about it if it does happen we may just get wheatly from portal 2. even though we don't know what the game hold but if he is evil I just hope he'll just be like wheatly
keep on reporting all the spam bots.
i mean...could be an alternate personality? like he is presumably sentient, and was alone....for 8 years.....asuming best estimates on normal human resiliance...well i think willson rings a bell don't you, could very well be that Rambly isn't evil...but also is but also isnt
Maybe in chapter 2 he’ll be a bit more aware and face the issues with his friends (and Lloyd) and the park.
fr, he's twisting the script ngl.
I my badness I hate plot twists

@@LucanVaris
Player: *Why* do you hate Lloyd?
Rambley: Because-! Because... Be... Huh, you make a good question, buddy.

@@Balincia20Yeah, and there is some explanations for the evidence in this theory that tell us that Rambley is not evil, and currently Unique Geese has confirmed that he won’t be evil.
Yeah glad he wont be evil, the character is just waaay too likeable to be a bad guy
Rambley will probably just be oblivious until the end and have a “what have I done” moment. He is restricted by the tv screens after all! Who knows what little he knows
YAY!
That makes me think that Issac Indigo is actually Rambley.
@@howzzat56Wasn't Walt Disney Mickey Mouse's original VA? In the context of the game Isaac Indigo could have done Rambley's voice.

If he betrays us, it’s entirely our fault, he’s just a silly guy and can do no wrong
Yea, plus it also implies he might NOT know the mascots are aggressive until he sees us running to the employee only area, or that his memory of that was deleted or altered at some point, as he wouldn't see loyd trying to attack us

Thing is, Mason himself directly stated that Rambley was the main man since day 1
And their cartoons were called Rambley and Pals
Now, Lloyd replacing Rambley? That's possible and something the arrogant cat would try and do
I think they were trying to replace rambley with lloyd they did say he was more populaur

Ooo Solid Point
It makes a lot of sense. I thought it had something to do with the critter cuff hurting llyod
Datchia fan aquired
Or maybe yk when the whatcha beeped that hurt the lion mascot and maybe like that
My biggest problem with this theory is that in a newspaper clipping, it said "Mysteriously closed", even if they tried to clear up the massacre, witnesses would exist, my theory is that it was one attack, most likely Loyd or Molly, that attacked one person, and that made it close.
Since Loyd had blood on his paws, I’m guessing it was him that attacked either a guest or an employee and the park shut down because of it.
Yeah he did skip the rest of the dialogue

I think when Molly says that Rambley hurts Lloyd she is mentioning the critter cuff. When the player gets jump scared by Lloyd there is the frequency that scares him off. Mason has confirmed that she's not actually saying that, it's just random dialogue
I can agree with you, but I also kind of think that when she does say that, even if it's random diologe, I still kind of think that she's talking about the humans in the Rambly costume.
@@_marshPMaybe it's just not connected to the park's system

I absolutely love Rambley's voice! Especially the song at the end. Absolutely great work there!
Good to see you Otterboyva! 💜

No, it's just DSAF reference. The whole thing.
There has always been the pervasive rumour that Disney froze his head to be brought back later. What if this analogue actually did it and became rambly or similar
nah rambly just chill like that
@XDfurry69 nahh really? do you not know every furry gets hacked and doxxed 💀
Fun fact: Footofaferet voiced Rambely in the info of this video. I recognise that voice anywhere
Not to mention that he's literally an AI designed to help us enjoy ourselves at the park

The best theory of this game is that Rambley and Lloyd are exes.

"look at my son"
"Pride is not the word I'm looking for"
i thought the cannon answer of Rambley lies is he does not know. as he is programed to not be able to register or know anything not safe for the parks image. so he literally can't see the blood and corpses. he is unable due to his programing to actualy understand the situation unless a visitor is directly in danger or interacting with something. and only remembers that as long as it's needed for the situation to be resolved.
my only real complaint about this so far, is when he's all upset about the retro lloyd plush, he's also mad that Finley and Molly didn't have any either. i don't think he's upset with the other two, i'm not sure if molly's death was intentional, he only Really seems to be upset with Lloyd and all the attention he specifically got. though i will admit i am biased and don't want the cute trash panda to be evil lol

Your friend is EVIL!
Pretty cool how these mascots aren’t costumed serial killers or animatronics, but instead animals that were experimented on!
Not sure of the animals experimented on, but maybe more genetically engineered theme park monsters.. I mean mascots
Kinda like jurassic park dinosaurs, or atelast the hybrid one
@@hemmet2those would be experiments dude
@@arcage_0132 For clarity my earlier comment served two purposes: the first was that I believed the comment I "commented on" and Tom, believed the current mascots were animals experimented on that transformed into their current incarnations, which was what I wasn't sure on. 15:00 nobody is gonna wanna hear this cause Unique Geese literally said on stream that Rambly is not gonna be a villan. From the mouth of the creator himself lol

He could be lying, but still…
naw imagine if he lied
4:45 the 'mane' stage, love the joke 😂
Didn't the creator already confirm in their Livestreams multiple times that Rambley won't be evil?
Correct, he said he doesn’t like the trope of the cute mascot being evil
That’s what anyone would say when they don’t want you to figure it out
I think rambley is just in denial
@@d_men You wouldn't just flat out lie though.
Good thing the creator confirmed that he isn't evil.
Well, obviously, the creator wouldn't say he was the villian, that would spoil the entire game
@@Juno7920Could just... Not address the question and call the trope over used (Or did he call it oversaturated? Same idea)
0:02 I can hear Footofaferret from a mile away
That mask dialogue is a reference to Dayshift at Freddy's. It's obvious because of 'Old Sport' which is something Dave always says. You can also hear it in the way they voice the characters.
I think this is because this was one of Uniquegeese's favorite FNAF fangames
Counterpoint: he has the mind of a child. He doesn't know any better.
Also, he likes trains. That too.
The critter watch thing is the exact model of the new Disney watch thing
Lloyd might have been the old main mascot of Indigo Park. There is a golden Lloyd statue in the back of the theater, matching the design of the golden rambley statue that is outside. Also an old sign in rambley's railroad reveals it used to be Lloyd's limo.
Sorry Tom, unique geese confirmed rambley isn't evil
Maybe not evil, but may have a hidden agenda for wanting the player character to stay. Besides him wanting the player to fix up the park. But I guess we will have to wait and see when the other chapters are released
@nikkowats4689 it was pretty obvious that he did that in the first chapter with the rambley Tuesday shtick and the over excitement of a new guest, he even admits that after killing mollie
@@3dchomper Mollie killed herself tbf, he just closed the door and Molly chose to jump

Isn’t the “I think so, old sport” an Easter egg to Dayshift at Freddy’s? The character even talks like Dave XD
Yessiree old sport
