I’m a behavioral health nurse and I love it ! Each day is different as you don’t really know what gonna go down on the unit: I work on a primarily detox floor so I do get to use some nursing skills ,

are you still working at the same place ? :) i'm a new grad nurse, starting off at a behavioral health hospital + med surg unit, i am excited and nervous to start but i know the Lord will be with me and help me in my nursing career and to take care of these patients! how are you?

Thanks for making this video! I’m a second career nursing student who works on a medsurg floor as a PCT. I have realized that I think I might want to be a psych nurse. I used to be an elementary school teacher, and I had multiple kids throughout the years who should have been receiving psych services. Maybe adolescent psych is for me.

@@maynardcortes1493 so far so good! i really think it depends on the hospital and coworkers/work environment too! i've had 3 shifts so far, with a preceptor & she's been so kind and patient with me! i'll be honest, i'm a slow learner and it takes me awhile and a lot of repetition to learn, so it's been a blessing to be here :)

I find being autistic is an advantage. I find I am able to take in information and be analytical and keep emotions out of it.
