I’d like to transition out of project management into nursing but I don’t have any college credits and I’d be starting at 40. The anxiety of career change is crippling
You can do it! It’s never too late to start. Other nursing students who are starting school around 40 and some even later than 40 have found this video helpful and encouraging. Look at some of the comments. th-cam.com/video/jw4jHMYKBKc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=roP1Oqn4nvK6oDqw Just know you can do it. There are some advantages to starting nursing school at 40.
Thank you for the video, I have a Master's in Criminal Justice. I am interested in Nursing so I can make a difference, and the different field opportunities
Hi. I love your videos! I was wondering if I want to be a family NP, is it better as a new grad RN, to start with a bedside job or an outpatient job like a clinic? Thank you
I really enjoy your channel. Do have videos about Teachers and other professions transitioning to nursing. But I'll love to see the one with teacher transition to Nursing. I would also like to see if a person did Medical Laboratory Technology and want to transition into Nursing what skills can be transferred to Nursing ?
I want to go to nursing school to obtain my second degree. I have an education bachelor's. I hated teaching after a week. I'm 46. Diabetic. Heart attack survivor. Nurses have saved my life and I want to help someone that way. I also need money and great benefits. I am interested in medicine. Are there any decent accelerated or online programs that will help me get through school and still work full-time as a business owner? UNLV has an accelerated BSN that takes a year, but I'm concerned it's too rigorous. I may have to do an associates at CSN in Vegas. May take 2-3 years. What advice can you give?
Hey Adrienne, thanks for commenting. I addressed your statement in this video: th-cam.com/video/_0P6MMkdLLo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sR25KOS4LCoCg5F5 Where a new nurse should start can be a hot topic for some nurses with some having very strong opinions about it. Lol, I suppose I’m one of those nurses also.
I dig your well researched and common sense insights!

I read that bedside and ER nursing are where you really become a nurse.
