- I watched Broxburn Athletic in the shadows of Edinburgh airport so I could catch my flight to Europe after the game.
I combined two of life's greatest joys in this video: Non League Football and Travel.
The Broxburn Athletic game finished 8-0 in the end!!! If you ever get the chance you have to visit for the pies alone.

For anyone wondering about the badger on the badge, brox or brock is the Scots word for badger, and burn is the Scots word for a small river or stream. The Brock's Burn runs through the town, hence Broxburn - the badger's stream.

Raging!!! Literally the one week that I wasn't able to get along, you turned up at Broxburn! My local team. Pies are tremendous... get back and try a sausage roll!
Oh... aim to get back to Broxburn near the end of season (or start of next) - during the nicer weather. Watching the game from these grass embankments in the sunshine can be glorious.

random fact but when I was younger west lothian done a raffle for all the local teams and the winner won a complet for there club, the winning club was Broxburn and what you see is what they won!

I paid £35 to go and watch us get gubbed 4-0 at Parkhead yesterday and had to buy food and drink on top of that :-( same amount for hospitality at a non-league match sounds like a really good price.

Aberdeen , Saint Johnstone , Dundee or Dundee United that would of been understandable but to drive all that way to watch a club in Glasgow speaks volumes in a very negative way about our game in Scotland.
