Yes! Great advice. That has frustrated many designers in the past. Thank you for posting. Great job by the way. You are really flying with these tutorials. Can't wait to see what you think about the final few lessons when you apply all the knowledge that you will have learned up to that point.

Thanks for letting us know. In our latest video on the Ant Farm the user that requested that tutorial mentioned that he tried SketchUp too but with limited success. Hope you benefit from our other tutorials and continue to learn with us. All the best on your efforts!
When doing the bottom 2 holes, rather than draw the 2nd hole, Contstrain the 2nd hole horizontally, and Dimension it from the vertical center, show off the Mirror function. Another fun part to have done. After you describe what element of the part you are going to do next, I stop the video and give it a try myself. I'm always curious to see how different or similar we choose to create the elements of these parts. I'm going to get my 11 yr old grandson to start from Lesson 1 and I'm betting he will love the reward of doing Lesson 10 as he is a LEGO nut.
Excellent suggestion! Thanks for taking the time to comment. That is good to hear that you’re thinking of letting your son follow the tutorials too. I have a bunch of renders from my younger students that have modelled their own version of the Minifigure. They turned out amazing!
Got through this one a bit easier. Two tricks that I used now that the speed has picked up... 1) Watch the video in its entirety first. Then rewatch a second time with Fusion going. 2) grab a screenshot of the drawing and keep it up on its own monitor. This allows you to reference the dimensions regardless of where you stop the video to perform the set of actions demonstrated.
Awesome! Those steps that you mentioned are super beneficial for anyone learning Fusion. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing how you enjoy the assembly process.
Awesome, thank you! Have a lot more tutorials on the way. If you’re into CAM as well as modeling, then check out our Short Tutorials and CAM Tutorials. Please feel free to comment on suggestions you’d like see on our channel too. We always try to take everyone’s suggestions into account. All the best!
@learnitalready I'm running fusion 360 in high school as of next week, your videos are going to the linked for students to follow as tutorials. I'll let you know what they find as beginning students as I go. Cheers
That is wonderful to know. Thank you. One of the classes that I currently teach are all high-schoolers. I have based a lot of my tutorials off of their understanding, comprehension, and pace of how they learn, so I really hope your students benefit from them too. Please feel free to write any suggestions at all for improvement. Take care!
Hello again! Hope this message finds you and your students doing well. We have been thinking of your message about using our tutorials to help your students. How has it been going? Are the students enjoying and benefitting from these tutorials? Do you have any recommendations to improve? Are they struggling with anything? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Hope that we can continue to help them progress in their understanding and ability to create using Fusion 360.
@@learnitalready yes going well, I've put a few people onto your tutorials also. I'm finding the spread of ability hard to cover as well as interest from those who are capable. 1 term of work is about 3 sessions on a tutorial.
Loving this so far...but one quick question, where can I get the drawings that you are showing in the videos with the measurements? The website and the FB site only have some? Thank you again
Thanks so much for your comment! Glad you’re enjoying the tutorials. As for the drawings, I only have made these available as screen shots on the tutorials for the general public. However, all TH-cam and Patreon paid members can request drawings and models from our channel. Hope that helps! Keep up the good work.

It all depends. If one of your lines is fully constrained, then it will alter the line that is not fully constrained. If neither of them are constrained then the sketches have a tendency to start "breaking" on you or creating errors. Please let me know if you need more explanation.
I couldn't get the YZ plane to be selectable for my mirror function. I had to hide the object, and select the plane that way. I tried holding down the left button, but couldn't get it to work...
You are one of many that have joined our channel that have really applied yourself and have worked hard at figuring out this software. Great job. 👏 If it was you just a few weeks ago, you probably would have said something different. Thanks for your comments and your hard work. We appreciate that you have been benefiting from this channel. All the best 😃
At first I thought that Fusion is very hard to learn and I wanted to get to know only the part of sotware which would be needed for me for my project (design and print few 3d models). Now, few days later all seems for me so clear and enjoyable that learning Fusion is the thing I`m thinking of most of the day! Because of you. @@learnitalready
Don't forget to change your selection filters back from the last lesson or you won't be able to click on any lines! :)

@@learnitalready I just can't believe how powerful Fusion 360 is. Way more than I knew when I attempted simple designs in the past.

As you will probably just want them to make it easy to do the project, do a screenshot and print that. Quick and easy.

When you create an angle using "d" how do you know which line it's going to alter (the upper or the lower) ?
