Hi! Just wanted to point out Lily Rose Depo had cheek implants to look more glamours. She has softer facial lines before surgery.
Lily Rose Depp is such a textbook FG, come on...as a textbook FN, I could NEVER pull off all the boxy, often Chanel silhouettes that she has, and I don't see anything remotely disconnected here.
Yes! you can see her in her shows and movies next to other actors and tell she is obviously FG.
Even if she has longer lines, she doesn’t have kibbe width. I think the look off length comes from the dramatic undercurrent FG’s have.
She looks sharpened not beveled to me, she has similar lines as my sister who is textbook FG

I think this is kinda my issue too. My body type is primarily in the classic/blended category but my face and part of my essence doesn't match so it makes it extremely difficult to find clothes that look good along with my cool undertone. The older I get the more I hate shopping for clothes.

I’m fairly streamlined… soft natural with romantic, angelic/ethereal and natural essence. I have mostly romantic and ethereal essence and they are nearly equal. What this means is that I can pull off a soft classic look fairly easily, because the romantic and ethereal essence give me a more “classically feminine” edge to my natural body type.
Her imdb page confirms her height at 5'5 /165cm

I'm a romantic but my most dominant essence by a mile, is ingenue. (Im about to turn 27 but everyone my age and teens think I'm 19, it's happened my whole life) Everytime I dress romantic I look and feel like the clothes are wearing me, and instead of sexy it looks like im trying to hard, but I want to look mature and womanly! Ugh what to do.

OMG, thanks, for speaking on this. I'm a soft natural, and my essence doesn't match the "boho chic." The lines look great on my body, but I can't stand the style. I feel mismatched.
A super interesting video! 😊 I was typed by you as a Sharpened Soft with a Gamine essence. And just like per your example they can seem a bit incongruous. I have "womanly" lines, but my impression is somewhat "girly". It can be difficult to dress as I am really attracted to the Gamine looking outfits, but they look terrible on me. I have found that "fun" earrings that are large in size can be a great way to marry my lines with the essence. Would love to know any other tips ☺️.
Hmm... I'm wondering how you came to this conclusion about Lily's type. The knowledge of the kibbe sytem seems totally lost here... *sad face*
I feel like I’m between types, same with color palettes. I’m looking at the things that bridge the types as compatible with both.
I am a romantic but I don't think I fit in with the whole essence. I think I might have a natural or dramatic influence along with a romantic and ingenue essence which is so confusing.
I took the Kibbe quiz and think I am dramatic, but I feel my essence is more dominantly natural (maybe some angelic and with a dash of ingenue) which has more relaxed lines, so it got more wondering if I am not a dramatic but flamboyant natural. I know essence and body type are different and not always aligned but now it has me confused if maybe I mis-typed myself haha. Thank you for the video! As a Dramatic/Sharpened w Etheric essence w warm skin tone I can relate. I love the Kibbe recommendations, but I don't always feel like going all out Matrix core on a rainy day when all i want is to wear a cozy invisibility blanket. 😊 Anyways, would be fun to find a personal style that incorporates essence and geometry. Recommendations for D and Etheric are pretty much opposite, and the recommended colors for Etheric are not very flattering for my skin tone.
I'm SO glad that somebody else agrees that she's a short FN!! Shortened lines make her look spunky and "cute", which is a sign that she's not a Gamine type, because on Gamines like Merriam always says, Gamine lines are just going to look normal!

I wonder if she can get away with SN lines? To have some softness to her lines, but still maintain the visual weight her bone structures need. Or she can play up the one element romantics and FN have in common which is the ability to wear a lot of jewelry. If she wears a lot of jewelry, but keep them chunky and maybe sparkly, it can look really great on her.
This was interesting I was typed as a soft / yin gamine in 2014. It worked for a while but there were always certain issues that threw the gamine look off- for example, having a larger bust. Also I think I look better with longer hair personally. I hate how the only option for gamines is a short haircut. Love my pixie cuts when I was younger but now that I'm in my mid forties, I feel like longer hair actually looks better, and I've been enjoying some aspects of soft natural style. Perhaps I had more Natural in my profile that was ignored in my original analysis?

How about a, b facial features with d,e body, wider shoulders and hips, average bust, small waist, bevelled bones. The nearest seems to be soft natural , but I definitely don't suit draped, oversized or asymmetrical.

The look at 7:16 is not flattering. There is a feeling of the garment "pulling her down." It's all the eye can see, the antithesis of styling for the eyes to take in the wearer, not the apparel.

I adore Merriam but I agree. Lily and her mother are textbook gamines. Lily especially is built like a funkopop figurine (I love her, total doll). To put her in the same category as the likes of Gigi Hadid?? She obviously fits the Audrey Hepbrun/Twiggy/Lisa Bonet/Zoe Kravitz/Eartha Kitt etc category... Also the full body pictures in the video date back to when she was underage and severly underweight from anorexia (she openly talked about it).. Anyways! Food 4 thoughts
