Hi Claudia thank you so much for another lovely episode. So sorry to hear that you had to spend Easter on your own and wish your family very speedy recoveries. I got my Moorit last week and have earmarked nearly everything in it such fantastic patterns, yours of course are on my list but I have a few Wips on the go and promised myself I will not start another one until I finish a few (whether that happens or not is another thing). I now have to get my hands on the book looks like some gorgeous patterns in it too. I love when I see you have another episode uploaded as you are a breath of fresh air so thanks for taking the time to record these, I really enjoy them. Liz

@@sunbirdcrochet oh my where to start, I'm in a knitting mood at the moment and knitting the Stripes sweater by drea renee knits, also have some baby jumpers on the needles (3 of them) must be a baby boom in Ireland. lol. Also crocheting the Hail Kale Throw from Mosaic Crochet Workshop book so you see I have to finish at least one or two of them first but I'll get there.
Hi Claudia, thank you so much for the lovely episode - you kept me company while frogging a design that is too big 😂 anyway your company helped me a lot to get through that. I personally love the Clover Amour hooks and it is all I use nowadays as the handle is lovely in my hand and I also love the shape of the head - I find that it does not split my yarn as the other ones does. Oh yes and thank you so much for the shout out! I am so glad you enjoy my content as well! I will look into the other podcast recommendations. I also love your Musselburgh hats - they are gorgeous. It's so nice to watch your Easter podcast today Claudia. I hope that your family recovers quickly. My sister and brother-in-law also caught Covid over Easter. My husband and I were together with them before they found out. Luckily we did not catch anything. I love the term "palette cleanser" for your interim project. I will have to remember that and use it myself. Your fabrics are a joy! I believe that I was African in another life because I am very drawn to the beautiful and colorful material that comes from there. However, I am too chicken to wear those fabrics. Making bags is a perfect solution for keeping those artistic fabrics close. Your designs in Moorit are gorgeous. Nobody lives in vain. You speak the truth when you say that we don't know how our lives impact others. Your life is interesting and keeps me watching and wondering what you will be doing the next time 😊

Yes, the fabric is really full on in colour and patterns but I thought I might combine them with some uni coloured bits and pieces. They make me happy in any case :)
Thank you for what you say about my designs. I hope that they will find crocheters who feel they wish to make them. Marta Mitchell (who also has a podcast, maybe you know her already?) is currently crocheting the Claigan shawl and it thrills me to bits :)
My life right now feels very boring, which I realize isn't exactly fair to say. I am blessed in many ways but the one person who is so important to me, I haven't seen him for so many years now and by now I think chances are I never will again, so it dampens my spirit quite a lot I must say. But everything is only temporary or so I was told, and that applies to sadness too.
Here's to friendships! They are the best remedy for everything.

@@sunbirdcrochet yes i do. Life is crazy. My friend just found a puppy this week and now we try, to get him to Germany so he can take care of him. I knit a dogblanket now while he is winding the yarn for it.
