Hello Claudia! Thank you for the shout out!! I don't believe that I am anywhere near a master of freeform at the moment... but I can certainly say I have learned a lot and with every new project I learn even more. Thank you for hosting this CAL... it has been my motivation to finally jump down that rabbit hole. So happy to see some of you beautiful languishing WIPS come to life. What a fine collection of handmade project bags. Anyone receiving one will be a very lucky prize winner! They will be something to cherish! Take care! Thanks for always being so willing to share what you do.
Oh my! What a lovely long podcast! First off, your Chrysalis Throw is so beautiful. The combination of colors is very harmonious. I'm so happy that it didn't languish in the WIP pile. The Protea square makes a very elegant cushion cover. Such a good idea about the button closing. After seeing one of your other podcasts I bought a square blocker. I will probably not make the Battenberg Blanket but am looking forward to diving into a new type of crochet for me. Your shawl for Marta turned out very well. The simple designs can sometimes be the best. Thank you for mentioning our mutual swap. It is a pleasure to own a Dingle original! Don't be embarrassed about the Froggie Princess. I became smitten with a Baby Yoda amigurumi on Etsy and now it is sitting on my craft desk holding my stitch markers in its little bowl. 😆 The crochet daffodils are so pretty. I no longer decorate for Easter but they would also make very nice package decorations for a birthday gift. Fantastic Edwardian outfit. That style suits you so well. And I am really interested in the antique sewing book. I once bought an antique Victorina pattern book for a doll dress. I ended up finding antique fabric at an auction and making the dress for my grandmother's bisque doll. So much to comment on this time! Have a great weekend.
Congratulations on 1K followers! I did look away and not peek at the shawl you've made me - can't wait to see it! I love the shawl you're wearing in the video 😍💗😘
Thank you for another "visit"! Nice to see you back again and to enjoy your recent acquistions. The pattern biook was quite a treasure but I must say that my waist was cringing everytime I saw those pictures...to have to wear such girdles to look that way must have been sooooo painful!
Yes!!! These corsets were not healthy at all. I never pull mine tight like that (I am too big anyway) but also I find it very silly. It’s fun to wear historical clothes for a day. But for every day I much prefer my pair of jeans 😅
Haha this book is hilarious. If i ever get invited to the kings palace I will ask you for help to dress appropriately. Your edwardian outfit looks stunning. Waiting for your pictures. I am playing with my new charkha spinning box. What are your spinning experiences? Have a, lovely day. Unfortunately I can't join the hook ups, today, as I have a teaching at this time
Oh Marta is gonna love it! I started on a granny stitch shawl similar to yours. Yours is such a pretty pattern. I'm so n in love with your blankyouI am currently looking for yarn to make the Bohemian cardigan/duster that you made. I really really love it.

Sending a hug and have a great weekend too, Carol!
I think this is definitely true that simple designs can be the best sometimes. It gives the yarn a chance to shine. 😊
The baby yoda sounds adorable 😁
It's fun to look at fashions through the ages.
Hi Claudia. Thank you for the mentioning of the MAL. I love the colours of your Battenberg. So pretty!
