I was so interested after you spoke about using the term "podcast." So, "podcast" came about by combining iPods and Broadcast...so like you, I believe we, on YT, can use podcast because many sit with iPods (or the like) in their ears listening to videos while working on projects! 😂 Love your shawl progress and yes, it looks so much like a Stephen West design in crochet. 😍
Happy Easter Claudia! Thank you for this exhaustive list. I look forward to trying some of those podcasts. Your Take Two Shawl has me smitten. I finally purchased the pattern. Next comes the fun part: choosing the yarn😊
thank you for the podcast recommendations: I'm always looking for good ones I can catch up with! I'm glad you also mentioned those that aren't podcasting anymore as TH-cam doesn't generally suggest them to me but, as you say, they often have lots of videos we can still see. Have a great week Claudia! x
Have a great week too! I do enjoy going back and watching old episodes... there are so many projects which are still in my queue and for that reason these podcast episodes of other makers are still relevant.
Thank-you Claudia for the lovely shout out--I’ve had some new subscribers this week and I now know why!😂 I’m a bit behind in viewing podcasts as I was away last weekend at a Knitter/Crocheter/Fiber retreat in Northern Vermont and of course, now we are gearing up for the Total Solar Eclipse on Monday so my next episode will be a day late as I’ll be amongst all those folks who are viewing this once-in-a-lifetime event! AND thank-you for reminding me about your current project-I just purchased the pattern-it was in my favorites and I have just the right yarn for it! I have the feeling that with the change of seasons, I’ll be moving away from the sweater-making brigade and towards the shawl-making brigade! See you soon!
Is she in favor of crochet too? I think I once watched an episode and she was saying something like crochet would use too much yarn compared to knitting which made me stop watching the episode ... but if you would recommend I'll give it another try.
Thank you for sharing your favorite podcasters, many of whom I’m also subscribed to and love watching! Rosina (Zeens and Roger) is currently running a crochet cardigan CAL (the Z&R Cardigan CAL 2024) which ends tomorrow (March 31). ❤
@@sunbirdcrochet I was so excited to after I finished a cardigan for my niece in late January but then I was distracted with other projects and didn’t finish the Ariana cardigan I started. That cardigan just doesn’t fit me very well. It’s currently taking another time out. :/
before you pointed it out i was already thinking the take two shawl has a lot of stephen west vibes to it. I also have a fibre arts podcast with my twin sister. At the moment we are both doing a lot of knitting, but I also do crochet and tunisian crochet, and my sister also does embroidery and ceramics.

Oooh, interesting! .. as long as there are "pods" it's a podcast ... smiles.
Thank you for your podcast recommendations❤
There are so many more. I'll have to shout out to some more next time.
Your shawl is stunning! Thank for sharing your subscriptions with us. I love your channel. You are an inspiration. Happy Easter ✝️
Thank you, Rosemary! xx

Thank you for so many recommendations and the shout out 🥰 There are so many I haven't heard of and they all sound great!
I saw that you are now using KoFi... I would be interested to hear about your experience with it... would you recommend?

Hey thanks for the inspiration and mentioning me. I think you would enjoy the fatsquirell podcast as well.
Have a great easter

@@sunbirdcrochet she does some crochet projects in between but it's not her focus. But she usually enjoys it

Have you joined Rosina's CAL and if so, what was your project?

We’re pretty much in sync on crochet channels. If think of someone I think you would like I’ll let you know. Ali is my very favorite!!
Ali is a darling... I love watching every episode on both her channels too.
