Neil, just saw this today. You do realize this was an unfair competition. You weigh much more than Donovan and you didn't account for wind, temperature, dew point, coriolis effect or, you get the picture. The competition was fun and, as you say, "for giggles." Donovan must be a teenager now. I commend you for your presentation, they're relative short, informative and to the point. Thankfully, you don't start with "Hi Guys." Good job. I know you have thing for GTs and there's a nice looking 20 hp GT 46" deck for sale in eastern PA on Marketplace for $350. Looks clean. However, I have a nice Simple Landlord 16 Hydro with no rust which I'll keep. Tom in NJ
Not that I'm totally disagreeing with you but I did notice he had the deck on the hydro and no deck on the gear drive, so in all fairness that deck probably weighs a good 30-50 pounds, I'm sure it didn't make the competition 100% fair but it at least made things the tiniest bit more fair
I have a gt6000 craftsman nine has the twin cylinder 20hp kohler it looks just like the hydo but mine is a gear drive and i have been converting it to a mud mower.
