    What a gem this interview was to see, I'm so glad I saw it. Maureen O'Sullivan was gorgeous and she aged so well. What a lovely woman. I always enjoyed watching her on Tarzan but it always felt she did alot more than 5 Tarzan movies. What a pleasure it was to see her as a mature woman. Her engagement ring was absolutely stunning!!!

    She, Maureen O'Sullivan, is a wonderful actress and also my favorite Jane in The Tarzan movies.

      Especially in the costume and tent silhouette scene in Tarzan and his Mate (1934) before the Hayes Code; but the swimming scene used an Olympic swimmer instead of Maureen.

    The one and only real Jane. It's Maureen and then the rest.

    As a kid growing up in New Orleans in the early 1960's, the Tarzan movies on TV were a staple for us kids on Saturdays afternoons and such, we ate them up. So I of course fell in love with Jane without even knowing it. Then I later saw Ms. O'Sullivan in other more normal movies and her grace, charm and demure femininity were truly a joy to appreciate. Classy Irish lady.

    The monkey stories were hilarious. She’s a great storyteller, with spot on comedic timing.

    I loved her when she was dancing with her cute dog on David Copperfield of 1935. She was so sweet in that role

    A wonderful interview, especially about Cheeta! The actress she was referring to that Will Rogers didn't like must have been Myrna Loy...

    there was a time when they asked actresses to interview other actresses on the radio. You can find Lucille Ball interviewing Doris Day on youtube. And I think Joan Crawford interviewed someone, I forget who.

    I think there was an interview with this guy named Richard Dominick. Was that the same producer responsible for trashy talk shows like Jerry Springer?

    • @dongiller
      @dongiller  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Richard Dominick was a reporter for the tabloid "The Sun" when he appeared four times on LN.

      @@megan0591 She sounds like she has a British accent though so I thought they were thinking of Maureen O'Hara. Perhaps not.
