Mr. Maltalban is a handsome, very classy gentleman! What an all round talent from old Hollywood! He carries himself so well. Loved many of the parts he played. A wonderful, athletic dancer in earlier movie parts...wow! Married to his beautiful wife for over 50 years!

Mr. Montalban should have been nominated for The Wrath of Khan. His performance in that movie was outstanding. Oscar, Golden Globes, BAFTA, you name it.
A great actor and one of my favorites. We never missed "Fantasy Island" growing up at the time. I was 12 when I first viewed his portrayal of Khan in "Space Seed" in 1967. How awesome it was for this old Trekkie to see Mr. Montalban return in "The Wrath Of Khan". This was a great clip and my thanks for uploading it.
Loved and respected this man and his work. Never saw or heard him in a demeaning role about Hispanics or Indians he portrayed. Always a class act. And his voice was as wonderful as his looks. I miss him, God bless his soul.

How did I miss this spot? I loved Ricardo Montalban's work on Star Trek and Fantasy Island. A truly classy actor and a personable man. He worked with Agnes Moorehead (Endora from Bewitched) and Edward Mulhare (Devon from Knight Rider)? That's a combination that I would've liked to see.
He also appeared in the very 1st season of NBC's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. entitled The Dove Affair which also featured June Lockhart of Lost in Space and These are the Days

I have been watching episodes of Fantasy Island...Mr. Rourke, so handsome, so eloquent and now searching for interviews of Ricardo Montalbon...this man is superb! I LOVE his accent, so easy on the ears and the eyes.
One of the positives from the old studio system. I heard him talk about his training at MGM in the 1940’s after he was signed to a contract. The studio taught him how to dress, walk, talk with his distinctive voice, eat, and how to act on the screen and in public.He joked he didn’t have to see My Fair Lady because he lived it. We forget he was in musicals, war movies, and tough gangster films and played his parts well. That image helped him be the perfect villain in The Naked Gun… the ying to Leslie Neilsons’s yang.
The only thing I ever seen him in was Wrath of Khan and he was sensational in that. Is so interesting to see hes such a wonderful and gracious man. Thanks for sharing Don Giller, I'll be searching for an episode of fantasy island because of this

I was 16 when it first aired in the 70’s and I still love it. I sure miss Ricardo, though, God rest his soul. And my son likes him in those Spy Kids movies where he played the grandpa.

It was filled with love, loyalty, and sacrifice. When it came out in June of 1984 I couldn’t get enough of it for some reason. And btw, I have LOVED Fantasy Island since I was16 and I am now 60 and still love it, AND Wrath of Khan, AND The Search for Spock. Ricardo Montalbań was a wonderful, talented, consummate actor, a total professional, who was loving and kind towards his fellow actors and other human beings. I wish I could have met him at some con or other before he passed. RIP Mr. Montalban!
