Astronomers and scientists use telescopes to look at images going back to the birth of the Universe. I look at Bo Diddley videos to go back to the birth of rock n roll.
Yes! I have seen the ridiculous comments..this man is legend! And helped create rock. I love his music. And if it wasn't for Bo maybe my absolute fav Slipknot would not be here! Now that says ALOT 😂I LOVE HIM

Had not heard this one, quite good. Been a fan of Bo Diddley since I realized he did "Who do you love". And how it sounded like it was before it's time.
All technology becomes outdated eventually. The original blues and the early rock and roll that was born soon after are timeless, forever the best music no matter how far music evolves. You all need to spend more time listening to this kinda stuff, with your Taylor Swift and whatnot. Check out Bo, or Magic Sam, or Lead Belly instead.
Sadly, there will never be another Bo. The gunslinger. The Killa-Dilla. You can hear a classic Bo riff in "Mona". :Hey, Bo Diddley!" "RoadRunner" And many more.
Bien sur que le beat vient d ' Afrique. Mais du fresh comme ça, en noeud papillon... les blondes bras nus... go ! go ! bo ! Le bon dieu est aux maracas XC
Yes. Clapton was an excellent colouring by numbers copyist of all the great black guitarists! He did some great work later on though to be fair, singing always sells music...
Pretty lame go go dancers. Didn't include sandy Sargent (ready steady go and beat club) the dancers in the psycho video by the Sonics, or anything by Toni basil et al from the beach movies and Elvis movies. They make these go go dancers look like old ladies.
The more I hear Bo Diddley, the more I am convinced he helped shape rock and roll.
Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Louis Jordan.
Ha! You think!? 🤔😆
He, more than others, was directly influenced by African tribal rhythms.
Congratulations genius for this groundbreaking information. Now you know why Rock & Roll and Jazz were called "Jungle music" back then in the 1950s.
No doubt!
Even in the 60's they Rocked to Bo's music. Definitely, Bo was the man that pioneered the distorted sound for Rock Music.
Link Wray bro.. link fucking Wray

Absolutely brilliant,so glad I saw him live in Liverpool,1963
Bo Diddley the legend!!! My sympathies for anyone who is unable to appreciate his genius (and there are those out there who have expressed that)

The wonderfully infectious sound of Bo Diddley! And how many artist's tunes did he inspire. How about 'Lay Down Sally' for starters 😂🎉😊

Him and Chuck Berry - Rock n Roll.

Pretty important in the evolution
STHIL RockN On
Awesome. Do we hear a bit of this in some of Clapton’s early days?
Yes. Clapton was an excellent colouring by numbers copyist of all the great black guitarists! He did some great work later on though to be fair, singing always sells music...
Deep Blues ace the base
Cool!
Thank you for this one, mom!!❤️
Who is his guitarist? She's smokin'.
The Duchess en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma-Jean_Wofford
This song makes people want to go diddley on their bo
Probably first female lead guitarist....
grast 🙂
Can hear where the Rolling Stones took the rhythm guitar riff for 19th nervous breakdown from.
Did any of these musicians actually play on the show or was it all lip-synching?
Not sure, going back to that era I look for the leads from the guitar as back then the guitars were plugged in and not `wireless`
Premier a faire des distorsion
Todays music has nothing
Oh FEK ya

The dynamics of racism. Put Ellas Otha Bates in a no win situation. Black people woke and wake up to that every day.
Lip sync
That black guy kicked ass on that Guitar!!
