I was listening intently for almost the entire video and staying focused for that long has become really difficult for me lately. This gave me not only a new appreciation for Cicero, but the Dark Brotherhood story arc in Skyrim and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. I missed a lot of this in my playthroughs. in 13 years of Skyrim I've never heard that dialogue "I'd like to see him laugh his way outa that". I can tell it's Aela's voice actress. Which NPC says that?
Unfortunately, from my experience. That particular event with uthgerd and skulvar seems to be cut/improperly implemented in the base game, as it never seems to occur naturally. However a lot of basic patches for the game usually reimplements the encounter to trigger
cicero was arguably the only character in skyrim that got close to the memorability of characters in games like red dead and the witcher trilogy. he was always my favorite.
I see Cicero as the Night Mother's champion..... much the way we are tasked to cleanse Meridia's temple from the defiler. They broke every rule, saw the Night Mother as a relic of the past rather than their guiding beacon. Astrid became addicted to power and twisted the cult for her own purpose. She broke every tenant. And ever-faithful Cicero cleaned out blasphemous false brothers.
Not too hard, as someone living with schizophrenia, there's more of us than you'd think. In modern terms, mostly what we call insane (a legal term not medical) or madness is usually associated with psychosis, or when ones perception of reality, no longer comply with everyone else's reality (yes everyone's psychosis is very unique, sometimes even each episode is unique onto itself), and that causes unacceptable social consequences. For instances of the latter point; flat-earthers, creationists, and other conspiracy theorists are all locked in a delusion with no connection to reality, but of course they believe their perception is right and everyone else is wrong, the issue is their conceptions fail at the slightest examination. I would argue these kinds of madness cause far more harm than the more "showy" forms of madness, look at all the harm caused by people tricked to drink (and sometimes) inject bleach into their, or even their infants
I never played Skyrim or any game like it a day in my life but this narrative about the homie Cicero and his unwavering loyalty provided me with a great escape I haven’t experienced in quite some time. Great story telling 🔥🔥🔥

The happy little Jester, is a happy little Jester forever.
Good on you, Cicero.
I really appreciate that Fizhy has been making videos on skyrim, especially long videos. Helps my mind stay quiet as I build and paint my Warhammer mini figures 😁
I know quite a few people who dislike Cicero, and I can't fathom why... No, I actually do know. He's an archetype of character that I'm sure people can and will dislike, but I can't help but enjoy the mad little Jester's company in Skyrim. I just have a personal soft spot for Mad Jesters. Plus he's one of the few characters with a unique voice.
19:44 "I'm just not crazy about the corpses of old women" 😂
Fizhy, I'd just like to tell you that I absolutely adore your content. Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time, and I often watch gameplay + lore videos to wind down at night, sometimes to even fall asleep to. I found your channel recently, about a month ago, and I've been loving these skyrim videos! I was at work when I got the notification of your upload, and I immediately knew what I was doing when I got home : ) To me, Cicero is easily one of the coolest, most interesting characters and also one of my favorite characters! To see that you uploaded a video with a focus on this particular character absolutely made my night, but even moreso to find that it's over an hour long! ❤ I haven't watched it just yet, but I know that it'll be an awesome video! Your work and attention to detail on these videos, your storytelling, all of it is just absolutely incredible and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you Fizhy! You rock! ❤
in 13 years of Skyrim I've never heard that dialogue "I'd like to see him laugh his way outa that". I can tell it's Aela's voice actress.
Which NPC says that?
i believe it’s uthgerd the unbroken
@@AlyssiaCollard It is
Unfortunately, from my experience. That particular event with uthgerd and skulvar seems to be cut/improperly implemented in the base game, as it never seems to occur naturally. However a lot of basic patches for the game usually reimplements the encounter to trigger
@@sender0123 must be cutting room floor because there is no way I've never heard them talking at all.
@@riczz4641 the Unofficial patch is actually 1 of the most prominent patches that fixes the encounter
These just get better and better
cicero was arguably the only character in skyrim that got close to the memorability of characters in games like red dead and the witcher trilogy.
he was always my favorite.
We're all a little bit crazy. It's the people who swear that they're not you have to watch out for
Make more like this please Cicero is amazing , reminds me if my multiple ply throughs
10:40 did he just say “fortnight”? GET OUTTA MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEADDDD AHHHHH
😂😂😂😂
Great video! Cicero is easily one of my favourite characters
A nice extra for the for you is that you can sleep in the dead farmers home.
You were shockingly fair, honest and thorough with the unpacking of all of this.
Absolutely love this video diving into Cicero! Trying to understand his side and mindset Is great
Still waiting for that Alftand video, Loving the Skyrim content!
An hour and a half of cicero??? YES please!!!!
Oh rad, two weeks in a row! Looking forward to watching this one!
Cicero will forever be my favorite companion in Bethesda games. He's so great.
We're all a little mad around here.
'I keep her happy' is what I think it is? Damn Cicero, you are wild.
Pretty sure that's what he was accusing you of when he shouted defiler. So I don't think he meant THAT.
@@shadenox8164 Im not sure though... he does put emphasis on the word "Tending" also. Either way the dude sure is committed to the cause!! haha
