Brings me back to my days on da aina kauai. One of my most favorite dishes! I will definitely be making this one! Nice job big guy I love the variation you’ve been doing. Cooking like this is like traveling the world in your kitchen. 🤙🏽
The pineapple is part of the marinade FOR the chicken. It helps tenderize the chicken. It’s about science. PLUS he cooked the pineapple afterwards, so it’s completely safe to eat. You could eat the liquid part of the marinade also as long as it was cooked to at least 165* F. Again it’s science.
This kind of chicken is usually cooked on a big rotisserie pit.always turning.in Hawaii huli means turn........huli huli is turn turn...not saying anything is wrong with this recipe,it looks good.
just another reason why hawaii is my dream destination
Hooley Dooley Huli Huli Sauce & Marinade.

Now I want chicken for breakfast 😋haha

That looks amazing. Not sure about pineapple marinading in with the raw chicken though. Other than that awesome recipe. Keep up the great work.
Yeah, I would prepare a glaze in a separate dish.

@@msgtwarmonger3603 Yup, I reduce the marinade and drizzle over rice and Mac salad.
Make your own video about it then. Marinating raw chicken has been around for centuries. Especially in south East Asian countries
