Awesome 😊I'm happy you tried it out and liked it. I have a hickory smoke teriyaki coming out soon that you may have to take a shot at- it's one of my favorites.
I just tried making this recipe but I found out I ran out of rice vinegar so I used red wine vinegar and actually added a little teriyaki sauce and this sauce is phenomenal !!! For pulled pork in the crockpot very tangy. Thanks
I love it!!! The substitution of red wine vinegar and the addition of teriyaki sound out of this world 👌👌👍👍👍I am going to give it a try😊😊 Thanks for sharing your experience!!
Oooooohthis is so perfect for summer!! On chicken, on shrimp, on ANYTHING!! The nutribullet is so perfect for sauces, that’s what I use too! Great bbq sauce Jonny!
Using this sauce tomorrow for wings and chicken leg quarters considering it's Memorial Day weekend. The ribs will have a traditional Carolina BBQ sauce in honor of Mom.. God rest her soul. I'm sure it will be amazing. I taste as I go so I'm confident it will all work out. and yes a few burgers n dogs will be there as well. Sides made today Ala Slaw n potato salad. Everyone enjoy the day and put your best "grilling foot" forward
Just when I thought that pineapple is only good on pizza now I have found a sauce that pineapple is the star of the show in and also I reckon it would be great on pizza too I love this one Johnny Mac!!!
Heck yeah! That pineapple sauce would definitely rock on some pulled pork 👌 thanks for sharing Johnny! Have a great weekend brother, you all stay safe!👍👊🍻🍺
Arrow root works a little better on items you plan on freezing. It tends to not separate as easily as corn starch. Some also say that corn starch has a taste. However i have not really found it to leave a taste. But other than that they both work well. Thanks for watching 😊👍
No don't use flour for this. It would be best to use arrowroot or cornstarch. If you don't have either of those you may want to slowly reduce the sauce down to a level of thickness that you like.
I found that bbq made with Hunts ketchup vs Hinze Ketchup... depending if a recipe is well balanced with the liquid ingredients, that no thinking agent is needed.
Thanks for watching. You can use a cornstarch slurry - 1 tsp cornstarch combined with 2 tsp water. Bring the sauce to a simmer and add the slurry. Bring it up to w boil and you should be good to go😊👍let me know how it turns out.
It works great on anything roasted in the oven as well. Through a little on when you have about 10 min left. I hope you get to try it out. Thanks for watching 😊
I don't have a printable recipe. I hope to have one in the future. There is a list of the ingredients in the video description section. Thanks for watching.

Is arrowroot has taste? How about using xanthan gum for thickening??
Arrowroot has no taste. Yes xanthan gum would work. If you try it out keep me posted on how it turns out. Thanks for watching 👍
is there a way to replace the rice vinegar? which other vinegar can I use?
Apple cider vinegar would be a good substitute. However, any vinegar you have on hand will work.
@@thesauceandgravychannel ayy thanks!
Hi what can I use in place of arrow root?

My wife is allergic to soy, any suggestions on a soy sauce replacement?
Thanks for watching. You could try balsamic vinegar, or soy-free miso paste. If you have a chance to make it let me know how you all like it.
