Thank you for the explanation, more convenient with the time-stamps.

I appreciated this overview of the 10 HITS as I am interested in reframing the conversation about what a "high impact" means though my experience is in higher education in the US at the moment. I also love the resources you provided for further exploration of the topic. When my related video is available (on High Impact Professors) I will tag this one. For me, metacognition and collaborative learning have been the most powerful strategies in my courses to support student learning in the social sciences.

Sorry a couple corrections, the 10HITs were not designed jointly by Hattie & Marzano, they were selected by the Vic Ed Dept based mostly on Visible Learning. Hattie & Marzano's strategies differ quite a bit, in fact, Hattie is very critical of Marzano, e.g., here he says you can throw Marzano's strategies out as they are all over the place - th-cam.com/video/QLsxCbKugPU/w-d-xo.html

I'm pretty sure it's spelled 'adventurous" so maybe you want to change that as well as your neologism.

Sorry to hear that you'd had a bad day. I hope leaving this comment made you feel a little better, and that things have improved since then. Have a wonderful week ahead! EM
