ABOUT CHICAGO PD
From multiple Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, "Chicago P.D." is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city's most heinous offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond. Handpicked as the head of the unit, Det. Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) has assembled a team of diverse detectives who share his passion and commitment to keeping the city safe. They include Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati), Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), Officer Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and Det. Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), the newest member of the team with killer instincts, humor and smarts. Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) runs a tight precinct with tough love, although she lets her softer side shine through from time to time.
Chicago PD is available now on Peacock, the new streaming service from NBCUniversal. Watch thousands of hours of hit movies and shows, plus daily news, sports, and pop culture updates. Stream now on Peacock.

I love watching this new dynamic between Voight and Halstead. It’s the first time since Al died that he’s treating someone from Intelligence as a “partner”, someone that he really works alongside as opposed to simply giving orders.
Except Hank & Al hardly ever clashed like this. They pretty much agreed on a lot of the same things
@@joewhitehead3 I know, I was referring more to their relationship after this episode (especially in episode 9.12).
@@joewhitehead3 true but Al is dead bc of that and I feel like Voight knows he needs Jay being Jay
Eeyup.
I love when someone from the unit stands up to Voight like that and Voight actually listens.
Goes to show how much they trust each other.
Necessary in this case and also shows Jay being loyal since he brought up the situation and let Hank know.
Al trusted Hank, how’d that work out? Jay doesn’t completely trust him, he never really has and probably never will.
@@LotsofLisa The difference between Al and Jay is that Al has always been like Hank in that he's not afraid to get dirty. Jay, on the other hand, always seems to want to make Hank go the clean way (even though he's crossed a few lines in the past too).
Also it wasn't Al's trust in Hank that got him killed, it was his loyalty. Hank told him God knows how many times to just give him up to Woods but Al refused each time stating "We'll get through this together."
We kinda see the same thing when
*~SPOILER WARNING FOR SEASON 9~*
Hank practically begs for Jay to turn him into that FBI Agent.
You may be right in saying that Jay will never completely trust Hank (and I don't think anyone ever will, Hell, I don't even think Al did to be honest), but he trusts him to a point where he has full faith in that their new "partnership" will work out.
And with a certain scene from the newest episode, I'd say so far so good.
Eeyup.
Jesse's acting skills are on 🔥🔥
0:45 - "I'll take care of it"
Yeah, cause you did such a good job taking care of it the last time! It's good to see Jay and Voight talking to each other and working together instead of just arguing all the time. I think this is the first step of Voight preparing Jay to take over the unit... Hopefully not for a long time though!
To be fair, Hailey herself said she was partially to blame for being at that warehouse.
AND. . .the only reason Roy Walton's body was even found in the first place is because Jay ran Hank's GPS coordinates on the night he went missing and met with him at the burial site.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have, I'm just saying that there had to have been a more discreet way of doing that rather than meeting your boss and chewing him out right at scene of the crime.
Hank and Jay Been going at each other since season 1
Jay is entering the the world of hank voight like Lindsay and Alvin
Yes
Seems like it. He understands now, that not everything is black and white, especially doing what they do, there must be some sacrifices to make, to do the job and protect the city and citizens. This new understanding between them seems like a very good compromise.
Erin & Al both made their own choices though. Hank never made them do anything
Yep
@@joewhitehead3right
One of the biggest “oh sh!t” moments in the history of the show when North took Jay to the clearing and showed him Roy’s remains
Props to Jay for taking charge and getting Voight to listen.
Oh yeah
They may not agree on certain things, being that they’re both two completely different types of cops, but they both have a lot of respect for each other
It kinda reminds you of Hank and Antonio does it not?
@@DeathofSnoopy Little bit
The irony of this all is that had Halstead not stuck his nose into it the first place he wouldn’t have lead the FBI to Roy’s body as they tracked the GPS of Halstead’s car to the dump site.
Exactly.
Thank you!!!
Omg this scene is amazing
To be fair, jay gotten himself in a bad situation because he wanted to find out what really happened to that guy
Because Voight went back to his corrupt ways and made him disappear.
@@eddycharles4274 Doesn't change the fact that it was Jay who chose to meet Hank at the burial site instead of somewhere discreet which in turn led the FBI straight to Roy Walton's body because of the GPS on his car.
@@DeathofSnoopy I like you!! 😂
I seriously hope that season 10 will be available on TH-cam soon
Halstead is so fire..
Dang!! The boss knows what to expect
Damn Jay Halstead giving Voight the business
I haven’t seen all of season 9. They found Roy’s body?!? Oh man, will this be hanging over to season 10? This show is amazing!!
This is gonna be a twist down the line. Because In the past, Al was grooming Ruzek to become more like Al by taking him under his wing. Then Ruzek was groomed by Hank many times because that Ruzek was under Al there wouldn’t be any dispute in how Hank would do things, for Al would teach Ruzek how to adapt to his and Hanks methods. Now that Halstead wants to team with Hank handling things. I feel that there will be a divide. Halstead being the good side, Ruzek being the bad side. Both wanting to lead.
PLEASE BRING AL BACK FROM THE DEAD!! MAKE IT SEEM AS HE HAD TO GO IN HIDING FOR A WHILE BECAUSE OF HIT ON HIS LIFE AND BRING LINDSEY TOO!!
Bring back antonio
@SilexplSCT It's called fiction and they write scripts like that all the time.... You have your opinion and I have mine.
@SilexplSCT Like I said that's your OPINION AND THIS IS MINE. Not going to back and forth with you ..... Have a GOOD DAY.
I just live for upstead moments
Halstead socks don't lie him.
I mean they could always move the intelligence unit to another state that’s out of the current FBI jurisdiction…
Does the feds have more agents just like Walker North?
Jay Halstead becoming Alvin Olinsky
Se comió la luz el detectives
what episode is this anyway?
Jay é um verdadeiro pé no saco ,não entendo esse cara sabe desde o começo como é trabalhar com o Voight e passou as 9 temporadas amolando aja saco😫😫.
All because Haley wasn’t tough enough 🤧
Why he Blame Voight was his stupid girlfriend who kill the guy
Well Voight wasn’t exactly innocent in this situation
It was voight that kidnapped Walton, Hailey went there to stop him and she did. She had to kill him in self defence otherwise there could be two cops dead
@@chloedawson6636 wrong had she not interfered in the first place he never would’ve been in a position to go for Voight’s gun.
And I thought Ruzek was annoying and stubborn...
KEEPING VOIGHT OVER JAY IS COMPLETELY ASININE AND YOU PEOPLE SHPULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES YOULL SEE YOU WILL LOSE MORE MONEY FROM CUTTING JAY/JESSE THAN YOU WERE GONNA SAVE FROM AXING HIM
Spar julle ma se poese ok
Watch the footage ok
