Such a sad ending but unbelievable acting performances form everybody as Voight deserves his flowers, dude is an incredible actor. It's nice to see Jay on Voight's side as his character has really changed.

Is that really necessary? This is a fab page for Chicago PD, so the majority of people likely to read your unsubstantiated claims clearly like the show, including the character Hank Voignt. I'm still trying to process what happened as that was one sad ending as it reminded me of when Voight was grieving over Al. PLEASE GIVE VOIGHT HIS FLOWERS! He was amazing in this episode he loved Anna so much but the case grew to be too much for her. I hope Voight takes in Anna's son.

A lot of us didn't want Anna to die but we knew this day was coming. It's been a great night of television from Med to Fire to PD. I finally got a chance to breathe. 😂😂 You can tell Voight really cared about Anna and I've noticed how much Jay has changed since the Roy Walton case he used to be Hailey tonight but Jay was willing to go off the book like Voight. I hope Voight takes in Anna's son he needs that closure and I can tell he didn't want to lose another person he loved.

I was so shook by Jason Beghe's performance during this episode especially leading up to and inside the emergency room.

This was no doubt the best season so far for Chicago PD and this was a great way to end the way but on a sad note. I thought the Roy Walton finale was great this took things to another level. We, unfortunately, lost Anna as I wanted her to be a future cop. I wonder if Voight will blame Hailey as she shot Anna, this could be the start of something here but I'm just like some of the other posters I want him to adopt Anna's son. I'm crossing my fingers that Jo on Med is going to be okay and I think Emma might be holding Hawkins hostage on Fire. Great episodes tonight!

I am really hoping that Hailey’s decision to go with Jay (rather than stay, let a rift grow between them, and let him go out without her as back up) plus saying “where you go, I go,” is a good sign for them. I know some people don’t like her, I personally love them.

What an exciting, great night for finales for the One Chicago World. It was a great night of television and I hope the ratings are good too.
Chicago PD ended on a sad note which unfortunately I saw coming. All around great performances with all bringing their "A" game. Yes Voight deserves all the flowers and a standing ovation. Start the Emmy nomination campaign please.👑🔥💝💖❤️💯

as much as i want Voight to leave, i can't deny that his character really makes the dynamics between every member of the unit. and this is one thing that makes this show different than the other cop shows. and this thing is what makes Chicago PD interesting. his characters really brings up the other characters true personality and growth. without Voight's questionable character as the leader of the unit, we never knew that Adam is a very loyal guy that would follow someone he trust blindly. we never knew that Jay is also a loyal guy but still clearly draw the line between right or wrong, he doesnt wanna let anybody down. the writer can easily show every character way of policing because there is this "screw the rule" kind of cop as their leader.

As great seeing these two work together, but man there is so much tension. Trust is out the window, and both parties are the blame for Anna’s demise.
Jay and Hailey were following protocol. Anna was spiralling due to Voight's behaviour and determinaton to get Escano whatever the cost. Anna was going to shoot Voight and it required police action to step in and respond to that as the situation required. Same way Adam did at the beginning. Her death is essentially on Voights hands not Haileys.
I was glad to see Hailey standing up to the right way of policing and being there again to help Jay see where the line is. I love that they were able to deal with this 'Voight taking matters into his own hands again' scenerio together this time, as a team. Hopefully in S10 Voight finally learns. His team could easily have lost their lives due to his decision making in this episode.
Finally someone who also blames Voight for Anna's death. He made decisions that led to this moment, he told everyone she was HIS CI and HE was the one to decide, he was pushing her to keep going even when she made it perfectly clear she wasn't gonna make it. And now Hailey is the one to blame?

Hailey did amazingly right thing. She has done everything by the book
Absolutely! Police are trained to shoot to kill! Anna was threatening Voight with a gun, she shot him, and Hailey did exactly what she was supposed to do.

Did you guys realize that Anna is dead because of Voight and not Hailey, right? She was trying to so the right thing since 921 and was trying convinces Voight to tell the truth to Anna.
The shot was only consequences of his lies. He’s definitely not a saint that never have happy moments as you guys described.
THIS!!! Hailey warned Voight to be honest with Anna about the initiation but he didn't want to. Anna found out anyway and everything went sideways from there. Anna shot Voight and any cop would shoot her anyway.
There was no way to do it any other way. Lies are and always will be part of the game. Anna knew that her life will be ending either way. She lived on the edge too much
Anna was already losing it Voight knew that. Yes he should’ve told her but then Toscano would’ve picked up on her earlier. She would’ve folded and died sooner. Voight’s mistake was not grabbing Anna and taking her in. He wasted so much time and the situation escalated. Hayley wasn’t wrong but she def could’ve giving her a chance. She didn’t understand the part we’re Anna was raped and in her mind she wanted revenge. Voight knew that cause he got revenge for his son. Hayley should’ve known that in this case Anna needed to be saved by any means.
You do realize that Hailey took matters into her own hands with her CI and Darrius Walker which makes her the biggest hypocrite on the show she has there is no ‘right thing’ when it comes to her. I bet you would defend Voight if he was a 4ft bratty blonde.

This was Chicago PD's best season by a mile this season finale was better than last year with the Roy Walton case.

Jay was on Voight's side though it was Hailey who disregarded his call on this and she shot Anna too. I think Voight could be against her for sure.

You do realize that Hailey was the one doing the right thing this time. Not to mention, last season. When people around Voight get hurt, it’s his fault a good chunk of the time. He puts them in situations they should never have to be in. He burned some of his bridges with Jay and Hailey so they are right to be skeptical.

Sad to say I found the 2nd half of season 9 disappointing, I couldn't warm up to Anna's character and as for Voight its yet another storyline where he can't control himself which continually leads to collateral damage to his unit and to anyone close to him, I love PD but with Voight we've had 9 seasons of zero character growth, its gotten very stale and trying to put Halstead with him ithis season is just ridiculous to anyone who's watched anything of the show.
I don’t understand Voight’s reaction? Like she’s your CI and she knew the risks. He’s an emotional mess and acting like a baby.The whole episode was painfully bad and hard to watch. This season flopped after the Roy investigation storyline was done.

God Jay has become so unlikable. I hope he has a character change in the next season, maybe getting a divorce from Hailey would help. Voight is a loyal guy to the end and to his own detriment. Jay has shown he does not have what it takes to lead Intelligence.
