Do these not have an edge for windblown areas or icy patches on trail?

My local mountain is quite steep, and often icy,
Looking for something to hike the side of trails early in the AM before lifts open. Wiuld these be better auited than snowshoes or crampons?

These would be great! They're even compatible with Voile split boarding crampons if you need some extra traction.

Do the skis have edges?

The bindings take Size 14 boots
