You’re welcome! It’s super straight forward. My advice is to make sure that you have all of the tools first. And get a motorcycle stand if you don’t have them. Yes it costs a little money, but after a second oil change it will have paid for its self! And before you drain the oil, loosen the filter a turn or so (right to where it barely starts dripping just so that you know it’s loose). If you can’t get it loose, at least you didn’t drain your oil already! I have a video on changing sprockets and chains coming soon. You will eventually need to do that too, and then you can use your motorcycle stand for that repair too. Last thought. My first ever repair/maintenance was an oil change. Then slowly I started doing more and more.
@@OlisGarage Got it! Smart on checking if the filter will loosen. I totes wouldn't have tried that lol. I looked forward to your future videos! I really want to be more self sufficient on this baby!
Cool dude, cool bike! Thanks Brother!
Cheers mate. Got exactly the same bike, even the windscreen. Gonna change oil now.
Thanks for that, mate. Much appreciated
Ny harbor motor cross asked 245 dollars for an oil change
I doing it today myself
Thanks for the video
Very helpful. Just got a 2010 and she's in need of fresh blood!
Will overfilling cause overheating?
Not to my knowledge. Drain the oil to the proper level though
Thank you for this! I'm gonna get brave and try it! :)
