    Great video as always. If I could make a request... could you do a video on sewing exotic leathers and vinyl? I have a special project coming up and you are the one I trust to give correct advice. Thanks

    Richard thank you for another great video. I just did a jet ski seat this last week. It was a prefabricated seat cover. I did it just like you did tack down then stapling the rest of it down.

    Always great! I’d love for you to do a video if/when possible or a cafe/scrambler style seat cover. I’ve got most of the stitching down but I simply cannot figure out how to cleanly install it. I start in back or front doesn’t seem to matter I always get a ton of bunching in the back rounded curve! The sides and front I can get put on cleanly. Do you recommend sewing a rounded hem or something instead of just loose material so it already has a rounded shape? Thanks!

    • @oldschoolautoupholstery
      @oldschoolautoupholstery  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello User, Don't give up! If something doesn't quite work out for you, try it again. When making new patterns, always try to follow the shapes of your project. If you just have loose material, you may have extra material to deal with. Remember that a heat gun is your friend. Please keep liking and watching!

    @oldschoolautoupholstery what size staples do you typically use? Does the length matter?

      Hello Mr, for this job, I used 5/16" depth staples. Please keep liking and watching!
