Exactly the video I was looking for. Nabbed a $35 one from the junkyard and saw the brackets that needed to get hacked off and figured someone had a video on this already

Thanks for the tips. I went and used the website, walked into a junkyard with a stock # and walked out with a 75$ seat in 10 minutes. I plan on installing it this weekend. I got me a 2012 Genesis "Katskinz" seat in all black leather from a car with under 20k miles. Absolutely comfortable and its a passenger seat in brand new condition...I was told that u can use a small drillbit then bigger to remove those brackets, gona try that first to see how that part goes then angle grinder away is a great idea.

Any movement in the rails or recline mechanism when hard breaking? My Dodge seat has some movement.

Carbon Seat bracket link? Also, are those threaded knobs going into the end holes of the extrusions?

its hilarious to me that we have all dumped the same amount of money into sim and real life motorsport. about to buy a 718 gt4 for myself

Well not everyone casually has gear to cut metal just lying around, so that would offset some of the savings you might make from buying a used seat if you have to buy that gear
