Killing the Iosefka NPC in the back room is actually possible, however, because your character level is so low at the start of the game, even with repeated backstab viscerals, it still takes a good 5 minutes straight to kill her. Though you are rewarded for your patience with an early Umbilical Cord!
7:01 Ah the starter weapons may be basic, but missing a simple but well-known glitch here. If you are quick enough with inputs from the menu prompt, you can grab more than one starter weapon.

For anyone unfamiliar with this technique in game design, the second model is preloaded off the regular map so that when the trigger occurs for a phase shift in a boss fight, the already rendered model can simply be relocated onto the boss fight scene.

I love that about the souls games. Elden Ring does the same thing, specifically you can find Messmer before you even trigger his cutscene stuck in a wall in his boss room, directly behind the throne he’s supposed to be sitting in

Some time ago, I remember seeing the Summon Eileen glitch being done with the Bloody Crow in her place. There's also the weird glitch with Micolash where you can use a player summon to activate an elevator so you can just skip fighting him altogether.
Yes! To do that you would have to start the game and talk to Eileen in Central Yharnam, NOT do the Wolf Skip, kill Gascoigne, help Eileen kill Henryck, do the Top-Down glitch in Cathedral Ward to pass by the Forbidden Woods gate without killing Amelia, kill Shadows, kill Rom to trigger the Blood Moon, then finally come back to Cathedral Ward and both Amelia and the Bloody Crow should be there 👍
Perhaps you could do Wolf Skip as early as after killing Henryk to reach a point in Eileen's questline that expects you to reach the Blood Moon phase of the game.
So fun tho its worth it, I keep a NG+ version of the fight save scummed on a character so that I can bring newbs et al in as coop to try it out. Good times XD

That's so funny at 25:44 to see the 2nd phase Ludwig model is just stored underneath the main room, which is a practice for most games to tell the game to bring it up to the room so it makes sense, but it's always funny to see.
I got a weird one you can do the rapid poison rolling trick with gascoigne and when he would normally enter phase two the game will instead say you’ve defeated him and give you the key to the exit with gascoigne still alive and attacking you. Could be useful in a no bosses defeated challenge run
Madaras Whistle is actually insanely good for PvP, mainly because literally nobody expects someone to use it. If you can actually pull it off, it's a fantastic trap attack to basically any player who's slightly too aggressive.
It's also good for keeping other players on their toes even if it doesn't damage them. I like to use Bloodletter for its AoE attack and then use Madaras Whistle. It makes PvP extra chaotic.
@@Blittsplitt5 Yeah, sadly PVP is pretty much dead in Bloodborne. It took approximately 30-40 minutes on average for a single invasion in the main game and that was 2 years ago. I don't remember last time I got invaded. The chalice dungeons had a lot more action especially co-op but nothing like it was up to 2021. After 2021 everything kind of died down. So now I don't bother and play BB for the single player experience. ER multiplayer on the other hand is still very active although I don't like it tbh. My ER experience comes from playing both on PC and PS5. The only difference is that there are almost no cheaters on PS5.

You can still find people, but it's just much harder than before. DLC is active at fairly low BLs like 40-60, while the main game is a little trickier. Chalice Dungeons are pretty active though, but you have to search out the active ones yourself, and they're generally high level, optimized play. Can't say much about ER though, since I guess Bandai had a red cross over my name and I just wasn't allowed to play online. It constantly just disconnected me on the menu and never allowed me to connect. Shame, since I really enjoy cooping bosses with cool builds.

I ended up following this for my own glitched playthrough. The main difference is that i made sure to not fail Eileens Questline, but still skipped Amelia. Resulting in having to fight the Bloody crow of Cainhurst during the amelia fight later
19:35 there is a 4th very convenient beast you can kill for extra chunks: If you do Adeline's questline and get the balcony key, you enter the DLC's version of the Celestial Emissary boss area. Going along the path to where Ebrietas would be has you going through the giant glass window. Going to the left after the window is another scurrying beast that drops chunks. After killing it you just go to the right side after the window to drop down and run to the lamp before Ludwig ( the right side also has a chest with +4 healing gem IIRC) My runs of this route take about 3mins going there and back. 8 chunks per run. so roughly 6 mins for enough to upgrade one weapon, or 10 weapons for an hour of running. Much better than Chalice farming
36:15 if you did the time travel glitch and not get out of the deathcam glitch before One Reborn's arena, after the cut scene you still in the glitch but if you quit out next to the fog gate inside the arena, the reborn's ai doesnt start and you will still inside the arena (its technically an ai freeze), but you cant kill him , he gets immortal lol (you can only get out of the arena with hunters mark, quit out doesnt work)
So I bought this game earlier this year because I remember hearing jacksepticeye speaking so fondly of it. So I caved and went to my local GameStop and bought a hard copy for 20 bucks. And damn dude, it immediately became one of my favorite games of all time (up there with The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time, my favorite game ever made.) Before playing this I had only ever experienced 1 From Soft game before which was Sekiro, another incredible game in its own right. But the genuine feelings I had experienced playing bloodborne I hadn’t really experienced in any other game before. The atmosphere is unmatched. Plain and simple. I’m a sucker for Huge gothic Victorian era styled structures, which Bloodborne is chalk full of. The game is hard yes, if you aren’t really familiar with a souls like, but that honestly added more enjoyability (I think that’s a word lol) to the whole experience for me. Long story short, I am a hardcore From Soft fan now and it’s mainly due to this game. I don’t think I’ll ever get that genuine feeling again from playing something that completely blew me away like Bloodborne did. If anyone hasn’t played this game before and is considering it, I highly implore you to do so. 100/10

Honestly though my close favorite is Elden Ring, because it was my first Souls game and I also deeply enjoy the big, very diverse and intense freedom experience it provides. You can also dupe umbilical cords from Arianna and Iosefka. I'd reccoment youtubing the running path but it easily lets you get a lot free insight to buy rocks. If you don't spend any insight until you kill the Wet Nurse, you can have enough Insight to buy a rock. Dupe one set cords, to buy another then do the DLC until you get enough insight to buy a 3rd rock. Dupe the second set of cords and buy another rock and you can use any spare knowledges or Wisdom to buy a final one. With careful insight usage you can buy 4 to 5 rocks. You get 3 from the chalices and you pick up one from the base game and another from the DLC. That's 9 to 10 rocks in one playthrough without farming
i was about to turn off the video at the beginning with the beast gate skip, thinking ‘pfft i already knew about that’. so glad i didn’t. there were a plethora of things i hadn’t seen before, and your little easter eggs and jokes were quite funny. i was dying when Patrick came on screen and said Boo! 🤣
I did the first glitch a couple of times for early, bloodechos the quest still worked fine for me. I think it is activating the lamp which causes problems.
That Eileen quest fail trigger is why I didn't just rush for Beast Roar at the start of my Hunter Tools Only playthrough. By getting Gascoigne and Blood-starved Beast to clip out of their arenas, you can access the latter half of Cathedral Ward. Stopping just far enough in Forbidden Woods to get the title card will spawn Patches in the next window you interact with, so you get the Tonsil Stone. From there, you can get grabbed by the Amygdala guarding the Nightmare Lecture Hall, acquire the Augur of Ebrietas, and meet Eileen in Cathedral Ward to spawn Henryk. He's a pretty trivial fight with the Augur, and you can return to the Hunter's Dream for the real prize: his outfit! Yes, I went through hours of baiting attacks for the sake of drip. The run was a blast, btw.
4:50 you are actually able to retain Eileen’s quest line and all items in it if you refrain from lighting any lamps in the forbidden woods! Always something I remember when starting new runs.
This video helped me beat Ludwig. I didn’t have the skill to do the rapid fire glitch, so yes. I did roll into him for 20 minutes to poison him. Yes I did lose track of time. And yes, I did get jumpscared by the cutscene popping up.
I'm so glad you're still making videos! I remember watching your DeS glitches video over and over again when it released. For many years you've been introducing me to glitches I've never seen and I always implement them into my next playthrough. You clearly put a tonne of effort into your videos and I'll definitely be trying a few of these the next time I play Bloodborne, mainly those out of bounds skips! My favorite glitch for my first playthrough was the consumable dupe. Was much more difficult to pull off than the pebble glitch but once I got in the rhythm I never need insight or blood echos again.

Hey, are you using frame interpolation? I've noticed some artifacting around the HUD, or rather the lack of interpolation leading to some sort of tearing.

I was wondering this exact thing, and yeah it looks really good overall too. Less digital smudging and color banding than in most footage of this game, a good execution on getting up to "4k" for TH-cam.

When will Fromsoft realize that Bloodborne was the coolest thing of all time and they need to make a sequel? Sekiro. Neat! Elden Ring. Neat! Armored Core. Neato! Bloodborne. This is literally both the most terrifyingly fun and epicly grand game I’ve played ever.
I honestly think making a sequel to Bloodborne isn't the right idea. What else can we add or explore? It's such a tight game and everything (and by that I mean everything) just fits so well. Really don't think you can add or remove anything to make it better.
for the cum chalice glitch, you can farm echoes faster by having multiple bold hunter marks equipped and just reawaken as the echoes are absorbed without sacrificing them them. once you step under the first arch after the lamp, the npc slaughter will commence, activate the bold hunter mark and then just rinse and repeat, you will have 3 million echoes after 10 minutes or so
Yeah I get this comment all the time, but Bold Hunter's Marks are actually pretty expensive. Its only superior if you're farming for a long time, otherwise you're better off saving the cost and spending the extra few seconds.

With careful insight usage you can buy 4 to 5 rocks. You get 3 from the chalices and you pick up one from the base game and another from the DLC. That's 9 to 10 rocks in one playthrough without farming

I did the first glitch a couple of times for early, bloodechos the quest still worked fine for me. I think it is activating the lamp which causes problems.
That Eileen quest fail trigger is why I didn't just rush for Beast Roar at the start of my Hunter Tools Only playthrough. By getting Gascoigne and Blood-starved Beast to clip out of their arenas, you can access the latter half of Cathedral Ward. Stopping just far enough in Forbidden Woods to get the title card will spawn Patches in the next window you interact with, so you get the Tonsil Stone. From there, you can get grabbed by the Amygdala guarding the Nightmare Lecture Hall, acquire the Augur of Ebrietas, and meet Eileen in Cathedral Ward to spawn Henryk. He's a pretty trivial fight with the Augur, and you can return to the Hunter's Dream for the real prize: his outfit!
Yes, I went through hours of baiting attacks for the sake of drip. The run was a blast, btw.

My favorite glitch for my first playthrough was the consumable dupe. Was much more difficult to pull off than the pebble glitch but once I got in the rhythm I never need insight or blood echos again.

Hey, are you using frame interpolation? I've noticed some artifacting around the HUD, or rather the lack of interpolation leading to some sort of tearing.
Yep, you called it exactly. There's no other way to get Bloodborne at 60fps (at higher resolution than 720p) currently.

Also is there any trick to get rid of the inconsistent frame pacing for the video? Did you just delete all duplicate frames before interpolating?
I was wondering this exact thing, and yeah it looks really good overall too. Less digital smudging and color banding than in most footage of this game, a good execution on getting up to "4k" for TH-cam.

There's some thing about Bloodborne being a Sony exclusive and that makes it less saleable because of the desire to multiplatform all titles
I honestly think making a sequel to Bloodborne isn't the right idea. What else can we add or explore? It's such a tight game and everything (and by that I mean everything) just fits so well. Really don't think you can add or remove anything to make it better.

for the cum chalice glitch, you can farm echoes faster by having multiple bold hunter marks equipped and just reawaken as the echoes are absorbed without sacrificing them them. once you step under the first arch after the lamp, the npc slaughter will commence, activate the bold hunter mark and then just rinse and repeat, you will have 3 million echoes after 10 minutes or so
Yeah I get this comment all the time, but Bold Hunter's Marks are actually pretty expensive. Its only superior if you're farming for a long time, otherwise you're better off saving the cost and spending the extra few seconds.

With the Ludwig I had two rapid poisons gems on so I was about 19 rapid poison took maybe 8 or 9 minutes
