Do you like the ongyoki core? I like it too but I cant always cancel it when I want to and it ends up eating alot of my anima bar.

@@PooferLlama I like the invulnerability alot. It's also nice for a quick reposition. Plus just as a passive it seems like you can basically walk up to enemies before they see you too.

It's a Yokai ability from "Aberrant Soldier". It's fast, cheap and has range, good combo filller.

@@Sekiro_lover Different Yokai abilities have different purposes.
The aberrant soldier isn't really for damage.
You use it inbetween, to recover some Ki, to keep pressure between combos so thexy don't recover and / or to break the Ki bar.
Ippon-Datara soul cores are great for breaking horns and do some decent damage.
Enki soul core is great to avoid attacks.
Same as Karasu Tengu, which also often breaks horns and prones human enemies.
There are a lot of great guides for Nioh2 on this channel, just try out a few skills and see what feels right.
