I like how purity is generally easier to apply with the tali stacking on top of the imbue. However, if you grind hard enough to get around 300% sentience and use Baku's guardian ability, corruption is just goated imo. The ki leech enables so much pressure against the hardest human/humanoid bosses like Ren, Toshimitsu, Nyotengu, etc...

Getting humans drunk on holy juice is my favorite thing to do in this game, also killing the evil, blind witch ladies. Idk maybe im gaming to heavy, but i LOVE making use for nonsense, keeps me enjoying the game when ur done blending yokai salad🎉😂….

I honestly think it depends on the enemy actually. If it's humans and smaller or average sized yokai that have a yellow horn/yellowish weak spot then corruption shreds. Especially since most humans especially the Fist Sohoya BLOCK, so you use the corruption projectile as an advantage to break and final blow the enemy as you do unreal damage to them. Same with some yokai. Purification in my opinion is better against big and spongy yokai or humans with hyper armor since you can deplete their ki without achnowledging the fact they are tanky af plus the elemental effect last alittle longer since there is no gauge bar for it since puriification is already effective alone cuz of how quick and effecient it is. That's my take on it at least.
Watching your play style helped me realize I need to makes sure my ki stays up, and to be a little more patient on my fights. I prefer corruption, and I plan on paring susano with oyamatsumi grace for my build. Right now i'm susano and ame-no . It has nice output, but it's survivability is still something I'm learning. I can see why it's hard to find a lot of build videos, It's brutal to grind the rng in this game even using "the tricks." Thanks for helping other players out.
Yea ki is the most important thing to worry about…without it you can literally do nothing but ame is in my opinion a high skill based grace since it deal with attacking and dodging without getting hit to get the maximum stacks of damage but definitely underrated and very powerful…but yea the rng makes the game unbearable for some ppl who aren’t big on grinding games but I’m glad I can help as much as possible because I know how frustrating the game can be but also how fun it is
There are two reasons why I prefer the purity build: ki pulse on blocking (huge for my build) and the Izanagi Cleansing Prayer buff, which has really nice bonuses and (with preparation) can stay up consistently. Funny that neither of those are related to the purity damage itself.

I’ve been going through the underworld at the moment and I swapped to an izanagi set at around floor 40 after watching your videos and I’m at floor 74 now without really any trouble. Purity is just a no nonsense build that works consistently at all times. I’m not going back, I’ll be running it in the depths as well 100% once I get there.
Purity is by far the easiest and most consistent status effect in game…im glad I could be of some help

Your heavenly warrior build is the best build I’ve come across on TH-cam and since I’ve swapped to that I’ve been consistently clearing floors without having to worry too much about gear. Once I get to the depths I’m looking forward to trying the complete build but for now it’s just izanagi’s, ho-oh, the same soul cores and purity weapons. I only have a scroll for ultimate magic as well and I run fists and dual swords. But it’s been more than enough to clear out the underworld so far so I can get to depths and complete the build. Thanks again!

If you use Izanagi, you should use Tatarimokke's ability before the combat to gain 3 stacks of 7 pieces buff instantly.

I said the same thing…it would be awesome to have your yokai weapon have a conversation mid level…honestly I would’ve preferred that rather than Tokichiro lol and for sure I’ll be having another stream this weekend for sure

Corruption kills enemies faster. But requires more effort to maximize a corruption build. Its an all or nothing build .
Purity is easier to apply, more consistent,and more flexible.
You are 100% correct…both have advantages and disadvantages it’s all about how you use them
Bruh.. how can I get yasakani with susano grace? I’ve been farming for a few days now but nothing! And I’ve tried many methods, I tried underworld, increasing my luck to 132 with green special accessory, the depth, random encounters, and expeditions but gosh I can’t find it😢

lmao I have seperate builds with near identical gear for an iza/oya and maga/oya build. While purity is fun and super consistent, having extremely high sentience means im always getting the higher damage(and super high anima charge). Sentience is still always going to be a bitch for equipment rolls tho, a 4 star roll accessory in both slots is needed for full optimization sadly.
Friend, it is possible to pass the passive from one corrupted weapon to another, I'm trying to put oyamatsumi for my cursed weapon but I can't.
If you find an Oyamatsumi weapon with Grace inheritance and soul match it will change the grace of the cursed weapon you want
Corruption on top, you get to steal enemy ki, not only helping you but also sending a clear message that you're just better and they can do nothing to stop you, you get a cool looking weapon that talks back AND assert dominance through the name alone, like, saying you got a corrupted weapon sounds intimidating, having a purity sword only makes me wanna rise an eyebrow and ask if you gonna be a virgin till marriage
Jokes aside, think purity is better, you get the ki pulse on block and izanagi, plus it's easier to apply on yokai and humans alike, while corruption requires a very specific setup, still personally prefer the ki steal from corruption for aggressive combos though

@@KingRedDiamondGaming btw an extra upside of corruption builds is that you can have lines that you can not have in other ways cause you can inherito from soul core soul match, so for instance you can get an anima bonus (element) or life drain (yokai ability hit) on your weapon which I'm pretty sure you can not get in purity?
I think you answered ur question in the last video about whether an awakened weapons does extra damage. The damage was going from 2 to 3 thousand per hit to 4 and 5+ after it awakened. I currently am on the dark side of the force 😂 and run a corruption build too and I can feel the difference once the weapon awakens. Plus online it says there is a 30% damage increase when awakened. That with the 20% extra you get with the grace and versatility really does make it very powerful. Only issue is most bosses are yokai so purity is probably the better option 😂

Im baku for life. Im kinda new in thatbi put the game down for awhile. Agree that R&D is the game. I created (mag x sus) just dropped a 43,500 hit point blast on yokia boss. You realy need tartarmokke using baku itsunade and tararmokke and anima purification bonus. Im dual swords. Im Not end game strong or a tank. Only 5k attack weapons. However know very well that it takes me longer to down an enemy with purification. 😊

There are so many it’s hard to name because it’s so dependent on your play style but for a generic fist build that’s powerful and easy to use this is one of my first builds…it’s Izanagi and Susano but later on I swapped susano for Oyamatsumi th-cam.com/video/QyymDudnhCw/w-d-xo.html
This build has amazing damage but the only problem is your very squishy I prefer oyam and iza

I use a corrupted build, but not in critical attack. Work well with X3 cats for anima combo.
I never understand players online with 8,9,10k of stat attack, I am only at 7565 actualy....
If you see someone with a weapon that has anything over 8000 attack on it is most likely a mod and not an actual stat….around 7500-8000 is usually really high already….my weapons don’t even go over 7000 and I’ve beaten all underworld and depths of the underworld

7500+ is great, mine's never gone past 6900 and i've manage to complete everything. Granted, I spread most of my stats cause i'm too lazy to respec between builds😅.

I just run a kagutsuchi fire build and burn EVERYTHING, even already burning enemies.
might sounds stupid, and it's not a strong build but I wanna see em burn. Especially Yasha and Suiki with their idiotic annoying moveset.
