    I'm still rocking Luke's earlier setup that I bought from him (Helix V8, P-One and Stealthbox). Best purchase I ever made. I learned a ton from Luke, Nick and a ton of others in the community. Great video!

    Great work Nick! I've still got an amazing working system in my car from you. It's like a club/concert everyday. People go into my car and play their favorite new tracks just to hear how it sounds 😆 wild

    Those pillars are a piece of art and great advice. Sound treatment is labor intensive but it's the biggest bang for your buck purchase in any build. Buy once cry once is self-explanatory and will save you the most money in the long run.

    This resonates w me. I've got a simple 6.5, 3, tweet. and 2 12"s. Everyone around me doing IB kicks, IB sub, Front sub, yada yada yada. It's really not that necessary when your treatment and tuning is dialed. Which is not for most ppl.

    • @loferski
      @loferski 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It's soothing to resonate with like minded builds, it helps validate what you have or the path you're taking. Part of the draw for IB, front sub, is that it's not for most people. Doing what others aren't willing, aren't able or can't afford to do to extract a little better ________ is what makes this hobby fun and exciting. The term "necessary" should be used rather loosely within this hobby.

      With midbass in the firewall the gain is a lot more than just a few percent. The difference will be prob the biggest improvement you would have in the system from anything you changed since you started this project after sound treating and tuning of course . It only took me 1 sit on a truck with the Utopias in the firewall to understand this. But if you are not keeping the truck for long then its understandable, however the difference is huge.

      IB sub, I agree, not worth cutting a hole in your car and killing resale value. IB midbass, or any kind of midbass besides a door…I get it. I’m still not gonna do it, but I get it.

    I've heard so many people say having a sound q or high end build is useless in a car, because of road noise, but I agree with you, I don't have to park my car to enjoy my system. The ppl saying that must not have any sound deadening in their cars....LOL!

    Great video. Thanks for these. Question, how important are the tweeters, midrange and midbass vs rather trying to improve on tuning? He went, Audiofrog GS, Audiofrog GB, Utopia and Accuton. Just interested to know if the speakers made a big difference.

    • @ResoNixSoundSolutions
      @ResoNixSoundSolutions  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I mean, it all comes together as a system. Look at the equipment and the installation (the installation more so) as the performance ceiling for what the tuning can extract. The tune can only be as good as the install and equipment allow. Upgrading equipment will always be an upgrade, but whats the point in the cases where the tune is crap, which most are.

      Maybe it’s volume related, or a bad BT chip, but the sound definitely changes dramatically on my Jeep’s Alpine head unit when I switch between Bluetooth and wired CarPlay, but on other vehicles Bluetooth is fine.

    Bottom line install and speaker location is key then tuning. Energy transfers so sound deaden one door and it transfers to the next. Did that for years but no money in it MECA or IASCA I personally would never spend that kind of money on a DSP or speakers. My Hybrid speakers or Focal speakers and Mosconi processor is fine but lots of new stuff badass video. I have a 2024 GMC but IDK if I want to go that crazy on my truck. But ZR800 JLs in kicks vented and L4se and L1pro or L1v2 in A pillars JL amps and that good enough for me. 6k dollar DSP and 10k on speakers isn't going to happen unless I get employee pricing. Now home Audio i have already spent that but its not worth it IMO

    Kind of breaks my heart to hear the praises of the Illusion C10 considering they are no more.
    Any recommendations on an equally performing 10" front sub option?
