For what it's worth, videos like this inspired me to try a coinless run of the original SMB I had on Virtual Console. It's 100% do-able even without warps and I had a whole lot of fun figuring out the trickier sections :) You should try that next.

It's really a shame Peachette and Peach don't meet. They did do Luigi being able to meet Luigi in Mario Galaxy 1, so why not here?
The cutscenes are different from regular gameplay, and Nintendo didn't feel like programming every character with every powerup to appear in cutscenes properly.

Nah it would be too easy if they would restrict you, it would kill meaning of a challenge as something players make to make game more harder and in result better. That's why I like playing as Pacifist in Postal 2, because it actually gets harder and normally it's not intended way to play, but using knowledge learned through playing you can pass it without problem. It would be stupid if they would add mode for that beause it would get easier.

Also, the 'ette' on Peachette comes from Toadette's name because Peachette is Peach + Toadette, which means all those ettes OCs would be Toadette + *insert character here* So EVERYONE got the name format wrong. If it was actually anyone turning into Peach, they would be called Peach[name]

19:55 Red coins do increase the coin counter. To complete 7-Castle as Peachette, you have to crouch spin jump over and go under many ugly coins to dodge, but it is not possible. Reason: You automatically get thrown up to a Red Ring (one of those coin rings that need to be in Super Mario Maker 2 when Update 3.0 comes out in April or March), forcing you to go to the right to grab a red coin, and yes, red coins do make the coin counter go higher. Passing through a red ring wants you to collect 8 red coins to get a specialty item. Is this OK, Nicobbq?
On the final attempt, he didn't touch the ring at all; thus, not making the coins appear.
I would have allowed myself to use “alternative exits” for example in world 6 when you get to the secret level in the castle without having to but you do you and great video.

Fun fact: Bowsette is Bowser + Toadette, not Bowser + Peach. The ette on Peachette comes from Toadette's name. So Bowsette is incorrect, changed her name to Peacher (which sounds better and more accurate)

Well, he isn’t allowed to use the Mini Mushroom, Super Acorn, P Acorn, or Propeller Mushroom or be Small Toadette, which are also useful in Coinless Runs. Mini Mushrooms and Small Toadette have smaller hit boxes, plus Mini Mushrooms allow you to do multiple wall jumps off a single wall, so dodging coins is easier then. The P-Acorn grants infinite Spin Jumps, and both it and the Super Acorn allow you to glide faster and cling to walls. The Propeller Mushroom allows for even higher Spin Jumps, too.
This also means no damage runs, and thus no damage-boosting.
