- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe was released last month, and I already tried to beat it without touching a single coin. But now, we have to try the downloadable content : New Super Luigi U. It features 82 new levels for us to play and try to dodge those evil coins! Nico I just wanna say I love your videos. Especially because when you get to a point where you can't continue, you go on anyway just to see what else is in the way. Sometimes in these challenge videos people are like "Okay, we're stuck, that's it, goodbye folks!" and the video ends. I like seeing if the rest of the game is possible after that one part.
Can you avoid touching coins by doing absolutely nothing?

In 8-3, or more precisely, 21:26, i think you can go through that wall to the right. I don't think that it has any coins in it, but correct me if i am wrong. Great video as always!

But the problem is that there is no way to dodge these 3 coins as Peachette in 8-3, so according to what he said, this stage is actually not possible, right?
So this was why Toadette needed Mario to collect coins to build Peach’s castle on SMM2.

Actually, you can get past that one section in 8-3 by going on the lower part of the ground and jumping up to the corner, there, you’ll find a secret passage that takes you past that “impossible” section.
After a really rough day, to see a Mario Challenge uploaded makes me feel so much better.

You CAN beat New Super Luigi U Deluxe with 0 coins, you just have to use Mini Mushroom for that one level then revert back to Peachette.
You just know Nate will do the opposite

1. Is it possible to beat NSLUD while touching no coins as Peachette? No. (but as another character, yes)
2. Is it possible to beat NSLUD while not taking damage? Yes.
3. Is it possible to beat NSLUD while not taking secret exit shortcuts? No.

Yeah the column over there is hollow (at least in regular) and you don't need to go up to the coins there at all. Watch the ceave video he mentions and shows it.

You could switch over to another character, use the mini mushroom, then switch back to Peachette. Join the other character as player 2, then go to 7-Tower, then when you reach that one section, bubble Peachette, then dodge the coins as player 2, make sure to let Peachette out of the bubble, then bubble player 2, and then defeat the boss…

What determines the difficulty level you put for yourself? For example, in "lowest score possible", you resort to everything, even Nabbit, to get the lowest score. In this, you stick to Peachette.

In level 5-5 you can slide under the coins in the secret path somewhat normally. It took me about two tries to attempt.

If you see a problem in NSMB games during a coinless run, you have to either groundpound, spin jump, super jump, jump, wall jump and crouch jump over and over again, as there is sadly no way you can go there without touching a single coin.

I feel like to add another challenge you should try to grab every star coin you possibly can (not every single star coin but all the ones that aren't run ending) on top of the other challenges
This is interesting 'Cobb, but have you tried switching to Mario, Luigi, or Toad with Mini Mushroom in that tower section with the undodgeable coins. Ceave did that to dodge some coins there.

8-3 is actually possible because if you jump at the wall that is blocking you it will take you past the nasty coins and therefore can complete the level
