Great video! Also you do have a lovely kind voice. Would never had known you have problems with your voice. Hope it gets better for you. Love your creativity. I quilt, cross stitch, crochet, knit and garden. I love learning new creative skills. Keep your videos coming. I am 66 and retired. I also have a seasonal trailer on a lake in Northern IL - I like to sit on my screen porch and quilt. Have a good week everyone🌷🌷🌷
Isn't it the best sitting by the water! Brian and I had a trailer before we got this tiny house, we traveled with it and it was such fun. I met so many creatives along the way. I decided to stay put because the grands are here and I get to see them all summer now! You sound like me with all the creative projects! ♥️
Hello there friend! So happy to hear your voice this afternoon. I actually got covid for the first time and I am in house prison. My grandmother was queen of the fly and feather stitch I always thought. Stitching is so relaxing to do and to watch for me. I am hyper with ADHD so you know I need to have fabric and thread or paint and brush at all times. My poor hubby says he sleeps with one eye open lol. Happy for Brian with selling his flowers. They are gorgeous. My hubby was a machinist and welder and loved making yard sculptures. Unfortunately, he's 83 now and has aged rather quickly in the last 4 years due to a TBI and two craniotomies. Talk about forced "aging". My voice changed after my cervical spine surgery and I get raspy and sometimes no sound, so I understand you. Yes! I am a mixed media artist as well. Are you sure you're not another one of my "Spiritual Sisters" roaming this Earth? I am sew thankful for you and this channel. (and Brian). He's mailed my Etsy orders perfectly. x's lj ps sorry this is so long
I love your comments and am grateful for them! I am so sorry you are sick, hopefully it will pass FAST! I think we are spiritual sisters from another mista as they say! LOL Lucky us with such talented hubbies! Hugs to you! ♥️
I love this fly stitch and what you made with it. I love your voice and everything about your channel. Please make whatever you want. I will be happy to see any ideas you want to share. Blessings.
This is different and very pretty. I am doing applique using embroidery stitches - I will definitely be doing the fly stitch as you have shown. Thank you.
Wonderful dot 🫶🏼 brilliant use of fly stitch. I’m new to hand stitching and relate to your comment on playing with the stitches to see what they can be. I’m also multi-media, journal maker, dabbler at heart. Gardening and summer stuff is keeping me away from crafting much these days but winter will be here soon enough and I’ll have many chilly days to play. A book sounds wonderful… best wishes and thanks for all you do. 🌻
When I first came across your channel I saw the dots on the wall in the background. It was instant love ❤. I was so excited to see your tutorial. However I have been making a curtain of squares like Kate of last homely house but I am going to make time for dots too I have already made one. I will certainly start liking and commenting to help your channel.
I have just found you a couple of days ago and have enjoyed your videos. First video I watched was your A Dot A Day loved it. And then the next day Alex Anderson from The Quilt Show mentioned you and showed she had started doing a dot a day. How cool is that. I love hand embroidery and hand stitching also many other crafts. So I’m hooked. 😂 thank you 😊
Re the algorithm thing, since I spoke about it, my analytics have improved... 🤔 Maybe TH-cam was listening 😂 I noticed that part one of your dots did great, huge congratulations i was so happy to see that. And I feel the same about your dots as you do about my weekly slowstitch 😊
I will love watching you do all different things. I'm all over the place with different things I do. I'm really enjoying the different stitches you are showing us.
Jeri love the stitching. On another note I looked up Margarette Fabrizio kawandi quilts. She is what I would like to be when I get to be her age. I love her artsy look. Maybe that is what I am deep inside. Thank you so much for sharing my friend. Blessings❤😊
I KNOW! I love it when people just are who they are. My mom always wore big dangly earrings... Don't be afraid, who cares if people look at you! You should see how I leave the house! She is fantastic! ♥️ Thank you for being here my friend! ♥️
That sweet bird will have a raspy voice tomorrow. LOL I have the same type of bird here by my bedroom window that tweets for hours and hours. I think it's a sparrow wanting to be feed...but not sure. Anyways, great show. Love the fly stitch. (Upstate NY)
The Pekingese stitch didn’t turn me on but the coral stitch really did! So I did some while I watched you; I will share what I did in my next video @gonerustic. Really enjoying your stories too 😊😊
Awesome! I can't wait to see what you do! 💜💜💜 the mention is done @jeribellini in the description box and then it will show up in my YT studio and I'll come looking!
Hey, Jeri! Brian’s plate flowers are gorgeous. I have 2-one that a friend made for a local craft fair in the early 2000s, and another (by a different artist) that a friend gifted me for my birthday a few years later. I love them both. Your dot is lovely. I did like the gold , but your 2-tone decision was a better choice. Perhaps a small gold French knot in the space formed btwn the 2 wishbones would add a subtle sparkle to your design? Just an observation…not meant a critique, by any means. We have enjoyed some beautiful warm, breezy days in the low 70s lately. I love this type of weather. I once read an online blog that shared a camping route in the U.S. that would place you in locations that were always in the mid-70s. Unfortunately, our kids don’t get out of school until the last Thursday in June. They go back the Tuesday after Labour Day. Looking forward to binge-watching your past videos while I quilt, etc. Thank you, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
Pat, I really like your idea of the gold knots! I think I will add a few and see how it looks. When things are said with love I never take them the wrong way and when things are said with a mean spirit.... I delete them! LOLOLOLOLOL The weather today was amazing, low 70's with a nice breeze! Thanks for watching and binge watching my vids!! Sending hugs! ♥️♥️♥️
Hey Sweet Girl! Today's Quote: Kindness is the greatest wisdom!" -Unknown. I'm not doing the stitches. I'm still trying to get control of my stuff. It's taking over my entire life. Any hints would be very appreciated. I also want to learn a long stitch binding. I never saw it. I'll watch anything you do. I'm thrilled to have my friend back. Congratulations to your Hubby. Positive Vibes and Blessed Healing Prayers ALWAYS sent your way. Huge hugs and kisses. Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
Lala.... you are my dear friend. Let's figure out a way to tackle this "getting control of your stuff". I'm taking this to mean, you have too much and it's all over the place? If it's something else, let me know. When I start to feel overwhelmed by STUFF, my way is to put it all away. In a BOX or a closet or whatever. I'm too overwhelmed to even make decisions on what to do with it. I'd even stuff it in a garbage bag, anything to GET IT OUT OF MY SIGHT. This is NOT a long term solution, it's a short term solution to just calm yourself from the clutter. I take a break, then I tackle one thing at a time. It works for me. VERY IMPORTANT: We need at least one spot in our house that is neat and tidy where we can go to feel peace. Now of course this isn't for everyone, some people love chaos and feel comfy there, but it sounds like that's not you. Let's talk about it in a video! sending hugs, oxoxoxo
Jeri you couldn't understand me better if you were standing here looking at the mess when we were talking. The worst part that gets to my other half is a lot of the stuff I have are like security envelopes and stuff that I might need for a project. Then I have real project stuff and starting to get out of hand. He has a great point if I get rid of some of the junk stuff I'd have more room for My craft stuff. I look forward to the video where we discussed this. 🐞💜🐞
Did you watch the Studio Tour? At some point I'm going to do another one, I bought a Gimbal so it wont' be crazy spinning. And you just reminded me, I was going to put that link in the description. I'm headed there now! ♥️
Jeri, investigate ‘Kefir’. It’s a fermented dairy probiotic drink and apparently works wonders for reflux, as well as a lots other problems. Thank you for today’s video. I’m watching it at 6am in the UK! If it’s something you think would help, then making your own would be preferable to store-bought. Xx
G’day Jeri, I subscribed a week or so ago and have been getting all your videos come up ok. I am an artist too and would love to see you make a book. I’ve made quite a few and would be interested to see what you would put into yours. I enjoy your videos no matter how long or short and whatever you are making. 😍 Cheers from Helen in Western Australia. 😊
A LOT of us are dabblers! Bring on the book!!!!
You got it! Thanks for watching fellow dabbler! ❤️❤️❤️
Love Bon Jovi, fun fact, even after he was famous, I heard he used to busk in Covent Garden, London, to keep himself real and grounded. ❤
That is fun! I love that song! ❤️
