What do you use for floats in your feeders? I’ve got motherlodes with cap/ladders and having trouble with bees propilizing the inserts. I was thinking of 1/2 insulation board strips but would consider alternatives too. Thanks
We buy them wide open, add hardware cloth folded in an accordion pattern, and add a small block to help the feeder maintain shape. A lot of work and $$ but worth it.
Love the drone shots!
Thanks!!
Gotta love that weather. Got back from MN myself and it was in the 50's in the evenings. Safe travels and thanks for sharing!!
It was pretty great! Ironically I brought some warmer weather with me but it still wasn’t bad!
Welcome again dear friend we miss your video
Great nature
Been a while!!😊
Hey Jake I want to go to The Cantina. 😁😁🍽

Jake, do you do OA treatments on your bees while in ND?
I've never done OA in ND but I don't see why it wouldn't work
Would have been nice to see closeups of the feeding but otherwise interesting
I had 2 days to get through 2000 hives so I wasn’t focusing on filming a ton. We were in buckle up and get it done mode!!!!
