Thanks for the support! Right now I’m working on some homestead things not real relevant to the build, but adding more space to the shop for more projects 😁. Hoping to get back to the exhaust late fall if not sooner. Thanks again!!
@@dream_killer_racing definitely home life comes first before hobbys! Just came across your video cause i was looking into the m120 motors, definitely glad i did. Ill be reaching out to you for help if i go through with a swap myself!
@@dream_killer_racingTo install it to my chassis that I built (bought a NAERC plans in eBay). Hopefully starting this year I will be able to start working on it bit by bit.
Awesome work. I think Jenvey out of the UK makes an ITB kit for the M120. I don't blame you for going at it yourselves though, so much more rewarding. I have dreams of putting one of these in a 560 SEC.
Awesome! Just fitted the motor and trans last night. Actually install is going fairly smooth. Going to try and get more videos uploaded this evening. They are pretty built motors for stock 👍🏻
Cole S equal length headers and likely a x pipe to straight pipes. Will also probably install motorized header dumps just to sing the song of my people :)
Really cool project! I'm just tuning a 5.0 HO out of a foxbody right now, with a microsquirt. It's got me excited about other tuning projects... I've always wanted a V12 and have had some AMGs in the past. I would love to simplify and tune possibly a salvage R129. MS3, LS1 truck coils, ITB, headers, etc. What are you going to do to get equal length headers?
Jared P thanks! Taking a bit longer on some of these things than I intended, but that’s life. That’d be a pretty sweet setup! As for the for the headers I’ll be measuring my longest run first and making the others work to that measurement. Seems easy right?? I know there’s gonna be space issues etc. so planning is key on this part. A lot of it may be trial and error. Kyle and I talked about doing mock up with tubes and foam. Not sure exactly yet. Hoping to get the trans case back soon from being welded up and start the mocking up portion. Also just got all the brake lines and parts to start that portion of the project 👍🏻
@@dream_killer_racing Sweet dude! I was thinking about mocking up headers with those flexible stainless steel hoses people use for exhaust and radiators. You could find the longest run to your collector, and cut all of the hoses that length, then maneuver and tack them together. Frankly, if they were properly coated they might be able to work as permanent headers...
I will be megasquirting the same engine in some time here in my country (Bolivia), will also go manual, do you have a forum or webpage where you are documenting your build?
dann hienn looking at going individual throttle bodies if Kyle can get the adapter plates squared away. We’ve been dealing with a milling machine issue but think it’s straightened out
@@dream_killer_racing if you can use the MB motor mounts in your swap, you will not even feel the engine when running. those hydraulic mounts are a must. that engine is so smooth running and the power is smooth and powerful.
Awesome project. Looking forward to updates. Let me know if need a remote oil filter adapter for this engine like this one. www.flickr.com/photos/95315314@N03/50281872888/in/dateposted-public/
Dude this is awesome! Love seeing TH-camrs from the next county over!
This is awesome man. I wish you the best on developing ideas and parts for the M120, such a cool platform
Chase Falgout thanks!! Appreciate the support!
This is awesome engineering from your end of it. Keep it up!

Your video inspired me to go back on my old project, with Mercedes M120 engine swap. Thank you

Harrison Fiddis good to know! Ya I imagine it being fairly expensive to build. It’s going to be a lot of custom work, but worth it in the end!
Very nicely done..Thanks for sharing.
Just subbed. I drive a 93 600sel as my daily driver and a 1982 380SEC. Looking at a engine conversion on the SEC
Thinking about doing this swap myself that wound me up here and subbed. Can't wait to get one on the dyno

oh shit. i'm doing one of these for a local shop as well. both doing the intake plenum and the equal header.
Nice! Keep me posted on progress, Be sweet to see someone else do this too!
Price it out!
I got a m120 and ms3x.
Still need to figure transmission, 60-2, and coils

This is awsome
I need to do this
What is the plan for exhaust on this? Awesome project I'm subscribed for sure.

the crossfire 6sp trans will bolt right on to that engine
I thought I heard something like that
