I was brought to this guy when he was Free valving a harbour freight motor...and ive always stayed subscribed. Dude is amazing. Also, congrats on the weight loss man. You look great.
So I know you don't probably need validation from some random viewer, but for whatever it's worth, I really like your content. Your channel embodies that which I think TH-cam should be all about. Maybe some day I can shake your hand and say "thank you".
I accidentally stumbled across your videos from a TH-cam reel and Holly crap. What you’re doing is incredible. That V12 sounds like an old F1 car from back when they sounded like race cars, it’s music to my ears. I’m excited to see the project advance and hear your little one liners. Thanks for sharing it with the world.
This is awesome, but you know what’d make it next level? Variable length runners. Have another set of trumpets mounted on a plate above the current trumpets, with a solenoid/actuator to lift the whole plate off and allow the air to take the shorter path again.
11:41 a couple of those trumpets are loose - they leap up a bit when it starts up. Perhaps glue them in so you don't lose them on the track? Glorious sound!
That's a great looking throttle body conversion Wesley. Looking good yourself too! Nice to see you back, I can't wait to see what you're doing with the car!
I am so glad I stumbled onto your channel. Subscribed! I'll be doing a ITB conversion on my 05 Aston Martin DB9 V12 soon. I am loving your design and the fact you outsourced to SendCutSend. I think I will be going the same route.
As a machinist/welder/fabricator/mechanical tech with an R129 V12, I must say, "very nicely done." If you are looking for your next project, I have a 94 V-Max and at least two factory Yamaha Seca 650 Turbochargers for a fuel injected twin turbo V-Max. Also have a mid-restoration 82 Seca Turbo with at least an entire 82 parts bike. Looking to rid myself of motorcycle projects. Bought the R129 as motorcycle replacement therapy.
Seeing the brass, the aluminium and the black nylon parts all together it reminded me of Pagani. Love what you create and how you do it. About once a month is great for me.
I think the best part about this is the price of all this information is $100... youre providing hours of R&D for the cost of a nice dinner for 2. Insane. Liked, Subbed.
I'm from France and was regularely checking your channel waiting for some news. Always some really impressive work, and I also appreciate your sense of humour.
Dude how have not got 10 million subs?? Your videos are so interesting, really enjoying them. The sound of that V12! 😲😍😍😍Loved the “Charity” comment at the beginning, made me spit my tea out laughing. 😂 Blessings from Dorset UK.🙏😎👍🏻
Hey man, fucking love this project and glad to see more videos. I totally agree that a good video is better than an on time video, but given the necessarily large gaps between them, and the implicitly large amount of progress made, I think they would benefit a lot from more frequent and detailed recap/explanation segments. I don't think I'm alone in saying I like hearing you talk about the project, even though you seem to shy away from it more and more in recent vids. If I wanted to watch build comps I'd go watch grind hard plumbing or something, I'm here because the engineering is really cool. Either way keep it up and I'm excited to see what's next 👍
Love the updates. If it helps, i think videos being a bit more specific might help. Like this could have been one vid on getting the car started and another on going over the throttle bodies. I know that’d take more time to edit, but just a thought. Again, always stoked to see what you’ve been working on and your sense of humor is F-ing gold man. Keep it up!
Yeah, I've thought about it- I have this weird thing where I really like to make a video when I feel I've made enough progress on a project- Also, by putting everything into one it limits the "I need to make content" crunch a little. I'm trying to find a nice balance, and I think hindsight 20/20 two ten minute videos, one last month and one this month, would've been better.
Good point about the crunch bit. As long as you’re doing well and not burning up in your garage (least not without filming it), we’re stoked to see what you’ve been up to.
I’d just love to hear so much more detail about each step! For example - those trumpets are amazing and I’d love to hear more about the process and the forming tool etc! You just smashed them out and breezed over the success like you’d just made beans on toast! Dude! These are mad skills and we’d love to learn from you more, so please spell out the technique more for us trying to cling onto your coat tails!! 😊 Amazing video - just wish it was nearer to 3hrs long! 😅 Thanks dude! (Going back to watch it again 3 more times!)
Another really top notch video Wesley. I particularly enjoyed the machining sequences, and how you edit them to sync with the music, very satisfying. I appreciate the challenging nature of what you are doing here, yet you make it look easy, and take it in stride, with good humor 👍🏻
I have had JB weld blocking a pathway in the mouth of my throttle body for going on 8 years now with no issues so far! Knock on wood haha! Awesome to see you back at it! Man i wish i had a lathe, cnc machine and a plasma table in my garage haha!
Man it seems like you’re really making great progress in many respects! Your shop is looking great too! Love seeing your videos when they pop into my feed but don’t feel obligated to release videos on a certain schedule. Film, edit and release videos whenever you want. We are just happy that you’re kind enough to take us along for the ride! Also want to say that engine looks absolutely awesome.
Dude, congratulations on the simply insane achievements you do on a regular basis. I aspire to have a shop that makes things at least half as well as you do. Also, congrats on the weight loss! Looking awesome!
this format is simple and appears effective as well as giving a peak at some of the hardcore motor head content. not that getting lost in the weeks nerding out over throttle bodies isn't good videos blending them together and meeting deadlines is a goodluck start with large fortune topic. engine going into the rolling frame in the back?
Those stacks are really short, you going for absolute top end? Seen many race cars on the hillclimbs (FIA Berg Cup etc) who despite running at 10k rmp had stacks at least double the length before the valve.
I've got an old BMW "oilhead" R1100 Boxer, they have a (BING) throttle body with injector, pretty sleek, but rather long. And not 46mm large. Anyhow, nice to see a video again, cuts, music, sound etc. always improving !
Can't wait to see this in a car. This seems like the kind of motor that would be so good in one of those Datsun 240-based Ferrari 250 GTO replicas. What a car that'd be.
11:00 your loosing the will to live …. 11:12 your ecstatic😂. I’m Liking the 928 in the background too . Being good at one thing is relatively easy , being good at many things is hard . Think you’ve excelled with your attitude , ability and deserve a thumbs up and a beer 👍🍺
You're one of my favorite creators on TH-cam right now even accounting for your upload schedule, I'm always stoked to see what you have in store next! Also congratulations on the weight loss, you look great man! This project keepin' you young! haha
This is the only channel with this type of content(machining , engineering etc)that I can watch without getting bored lol Amazing work! Whatever happened to your XJS?
Where did the other half of Wesley go?!?! 😂 Great to see you working on yourself AND cars. Looking forward to more videos!
Haha it's a bit of an improvement! Not quite half but a good 50lbs. Thanks for the support!
Right? I want to know his diet so I can try it
@@WesleyKaganI was about to comment as well. Looking good dude!
@@WesleyKaganthat’s a massive amount, congrats and keep at it!!
Work it,@@WesleyKagan !!!
You know it's a righteous project when the guy making it is using Baja Blast as cutting fluid on his mill.
Forever referring to my Be-Cool as Baja Blast now.
Most underrated channel on TH-cam.
HE’S BACK WITH MORE MADNESS!!!! Hell yeah
I'm back!
@@WesleyKaganAaaaand he's gone again. At least we have super fast mat to keep us floating between updates on the V12.
I was brought to this guy when he was Free valving a harbour freight motor...and ive always stayed subscribed. Dude is amazing. Also, congrats on the weight loss man. You look great.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Epic! Humour, lathes, mills, V12 and noise! Look forward to the reveal of the car
Thanks! I'm just as excited, believe me!
So I know you don't probably need validation from some random viewer, but for whatever it's worth, I really like your content. Your channel embodies that which I think TH-cam should be all about. Maybe some day I can shake your hand and say "thank you".
I was just thinking yesterday that we hadn't heard from you in a while! Glad to see you're still at it. Looking good!
I'm around, Getting better at uploading videos on time!
Welcome back Wesley, looking fit my dude!
Appreciate it! Glad to be back!
I thought TH-cam was getting kinda stale, turns out it just needed more of you! You're right up there with superfastmatt, fantastic work!
Love to see brass used like this. Form and function matching beautifully.
Glad you like it!
I accidentally stumbled across your videos from a TH-cam reel and Holly crap. What you’re doing is incredible. Yeah they sound awesome 👍
I am also using one for my dream V12 supercar build 💪
This is awesome, but you know what’d make it next level? Variable length runners. Have another set of trumpets mounted on a plate above the current trumpets, with a solenoid/actuator to lift the whole plate off and allow the air to take the shorter path again.
I hate the edge and leaks they create. Give me a good, wet double clutch instead. A full shiny trumpet with valves would be great though.
I was waiting for a video from you like a child waiting Santa on christmas night
I promise I'm not going down anyone's chimney in the effort to make videos. I appreciate the support though!
Very nice work on the ITB's. They are a very neat looking solution.
There's car build channels and then there's your content. The new look of the video (and yourself) are a great improvement.
Thanks! More to come, I’m excited also to work on it!
honestly love how informative u are even if u fade out of existence for months at a time
WTG Wesley. This one had an impeccable sound track.
Thank you!
Music I’m out

Is it just me or did you video quality drastically improve? All seriousness, the shots, the colors, the music, the audio. Its simply amazing

😍 R129 V12 💪
I am also building a project with this engine 😁
Seeing the brass, the aluminium and the black nylon parts all together it reminded me of Pagani.
Love what you create and how you do it.
About once a month is great for me.
You sir are an artist, those are beautiful!
Thanks!
Love this! I'm obsessed the M120 series of engines and the sound of them in their different guises, especially in a later Zonda.
Sounding beautiful and looking better than ever.
Casually builds forming tools for spinning Al, absolute legend work my man. Can't wait to see what that motor ends up in.
I think the best part about this is the price of all this information is $100...
youre providing hours of R&D for the cost of a nice dinner for 2. Insane.

Thanks! I even feel bad about the $100, but it’s if nothing more a nice round number
I'm from France and was regularely checking your channel waiting for some news. Always some really impressive work, and I also appreciate your sense of humour.
Hello Wesley
Nice to see you working again on your project.
Wow this guy is turning into a legend. The garage upgrades look great. Keep the content flowing.
That's the plan!

can you do a rotary valve next? i think you like it and be interesting for everyone.

i regret not being able to watch this sooner and envy your work space and work itself. keep up the great job!
That thing sounds like its pretty rowdy! It's going to be awesome!
That sounds SICK! Can't wait to see what the bodywork is going to look like.
you might just be my favorite channel on youtube. i think the freevalve project and the 60s f1 car are tied for my favorite projects
Whenever i get a notification saying that wesley kagan has posted a video i get excited. Nice work on those individual throttle bodies.
Videos from are always so awesome to see on my feed. i always drop everything I do to make sure they get watched
That engine sounds wicked!!! Fantastic engineering design and construction as always.
Thank you very much!
Looking good Wesley! Nice to see of my favorite engines getting some proper ITBs!
Always love your videos, well worth the wait (take as long as you need brother)
I appreciate that!
That thing looks and sounds SICK!!! Great work!!
So great to be able to realise your ideas in working form. Go you!
Omg he is back and every time is looking better than ever!!!
Can't wait for the next video.
great engineering skills sir - loving the velocity stacks forming tool.....clever thinking
Just saw the thumbnail and clicked. Boi that opening line was gooood.
Your work is fascinating, seeing it come together and you just make something new so it works.
Thank you!
I want to see all the updates, and I'm sure others do too. Can't wait to hear how this sounds... you have some semi decent mics, right? Right?!
I have great mics, I think the problem is I have no idea how to use them haha
Excited to see the video experimenting with them lol
Man it seems like you’re really making great progress in many respects! Your shop is looking great too!

Compared to my other subscriptions, I get disproportionately excited when I see Wesley has a new video.
I think that is pretty sick! I continue to look forward to future videos.
Great job! It's really coming along!
And always glad to support Charity! 😉
Awesome work. Great looking setup.
One off the coolest build's on TH-cam 🤩
I am entirely too excited for how this project evolves in the coming months, love your work my dude!
I’m so glad you’re back!! Awesome project!
Hope all is well, dude. Looking forward to future videos!
Loving this series
Me too😍
Thanks, Wesley. Out of this world, as usual!
I love how you go from a CNC to a belt driven lathe👍

Great video. Thanks for letting us know about the plastic weld. I'd love an ITB inline 6 even.
dude, so glad to see this project back on my feed!
So glad ive found your channel. Im taking on an m120 project also 🤙
Quality content as always Wesley! Looking forward to the next instalment!
Your humor is so interesting i love it.
I'm impressed with the fit and finish here. Kudos on the design 👏
Glad you like it!
Good to see you back, youre looking great
Beautiful work, awesome job!
where have i been hiding to never have come across your videos, subscriber gained
That's just incredible work. To make something which any mechanical shop out there would be proud of is mindblowing
Thank you very much!
Just have to smile when you deliver the goods in the first few seconds of the video but still worth sticking around for the whole thing
Fantastic keep on going.. we need more of those people on this level.. inrcedible workforce .. thank you for shareing. Good Luck
There is so many high end stuff from F1 physics eletronic and mechanicis inside.. you rebuild a dream.. better than them 😊
Insane level of workmanship 👌
Thanks!
Can't wait to see this in a car. This seems like the kind of motor that would be so good in one of those Datsun 240-based Ferrari 250 GTO replicas. What a car that'd be.

Also congratulations on the weight loss, you look great man! This project keepin' you young! haha
I love your channel because you actually make things rather than just buy parts and bolt them on
Can’t wait for the next video! Really nice work you’re doing!
Always a good day when Wesley Slim Kagan post's a new video.
This is the only channel with this type of content(machining , engineering etc)that I can watch without getting bored lol Amazing work!
Whatever happened to your XJS?
Thanks! I try and keep it interesting! XJS turned into a coffee table haha
Incredible as always, you were a big inspiration in making a custom supercharger build for my bmw! Keep it up!
Can't wait to see this racing down the track
Man u do great job I want one of ur engines put in my yukon v12 lol
😆👍
