    I have looked over so many videos and tutorials trying to figure this out in Cricut , and I have to say yours was so easy to follow. It wasn't to fast, I could pause and go to my cricut design space and then back to your video. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Two days of frustration, quite a few sublimation printouts, and cutouts ruined trying to do a job as a newbie until You😍

    I love doing it this way, but I peel the offset off the carrier sheet and put it on a piece of parchment then lay the sublimation on the glitter htv . ( I have a light box so I put it on that to line everything up) Then sub on the glitter then put the whole thing on the shirt. If you mess it up at least you are not ruining the shirt.

      Genius! I was just wondering if something like that was possible or if it would ruin the glitter htv! Sometimes I learn as much from the comments section as the video! Thanks guys!
      PS I sure have missed Becky from DS.

      @@jalajala4020 I do too. Actually you are doing the same amount of time under the heatpress. First sub then press like any other htv. I didn't think of this but watched youtube video of course.

      Can you go into more detail please? I think I’d like to do it this way instead. Does pressing the sublimation image onto the htv first mess the vinyl up on the parchment? After pressing the sub image do you just flip the whole thing and place face done on the shirt? How long do you press that for? I wish I could find a video doing this but can’t seem to find anything that helps. I’m new so anything helps!

    So did you mirror the actual sublimation image and the glitter cutout? That part was confusing.

    Just wondering why you didn't have the Cricut cut the sublimation design? I wouldn't be able to line it up so perfectly like you. 😁😁😁

    Welp, THANK YOU! I did my FIRST shirt:). I know I messed up the top line glitter on mine -- it's three sections lol -- and it is is applied upside down LOL oops! and it did take me all dang day:) but I DID IT:) THANK YOU SO MUCH:)

    If you're not going to let the Cricut cut out the sublimation sheet, why not just print to whatever size you want and not use print then cut? Just cut the vinyl, print the sheet from the PDF and line it up after? Save the trees! Haha not really, but get larger prints at least!

  • @lilcurry1202

    do you have to use only Siser white glitter?

  • @peanut0426
    @peanut0426 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can print right to your sawgrass from cricut without even having to open up PM. I do it all the time as long as it's not bigger than the print and cut allows.

    Hi when you are tacking down the htv do you need to put butcher paper on top ? I don't want the plastic to melt on my heat press 😊 thank you ❤️

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! The HTV will have a carrier sheet and that is fine! You can also use butcher paper if you would like but it isn't necessary! - Dawn

    • @DesignBundles

      It does feel a little "plastic" because it is not like regular sublimation where it goes into the fabric.

      What type of device are you using?

  • @teressastallion6032
    @teressastallion6032 ปีที่แล้ว

    What printer, ink and paper are you using? I’ve spent hours and hours making adjustments, trying different ICC profiles, different shades, etc. My reds turn orange when sublimating on Siser white glitter. So frustrated!

    How do you cut the sub? I’m not having any luck cutting it with the Cricut maker 3

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could also try to "messy cut" around the design instead of having your machine cut it!

      It would be really similar -- you would just use the print and cut features in Silhouette. 😊

    Can regular white htv be used?

    • @DesignBundles

      Yes! You can definitely use white HTV!

    • @johntrevy1
      @johntrevy1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DesignBundles It depends on the HTV. If you are using the cheap stuff chances are it will look faded. But of course as you say it can be done.

      @@DesignBundles I'm still learning the system and the process for both Cricut and sublimation, but the white HTV I have I have to layer a laminate over it so it doesnt come out bland and faded.

    Why didn’t you just copy and paste the image instead of the layering and contouring? Wouldn’t it work just to have the same design twice and just print to cut one and cut the other.

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great suggestion! Thank you for your feedback! Definitely can print and cut one design and then just cut the second design!
