So here we move from the mine into the factory. Fischer&Fischer loudspeakers are TRULY handmade, not just hand assembled.
There IS NO better EXOTIC, High End speaker value that I can find.
Enjoy !
Best crossover parts I’ve ever seen in this price range by a country mile!!
Thanks for recognizing it.. ;-)
The internal wire and terminations are impressive. There are so many high dollar speakers with cheap spades and high gauge cheap wire. All of these things affect the sound just like the cable and connectors connecting the speakers to the amp. So great to see this company address details that few even see!
Thanks for recognizing it !
Mikey. You do more to promote and demonstrate your brands of choice than the brands themselves and the brands who sell products for 5x the price. Commendabke. I became a member of the tribe yesterday and hope to start building a HiFi rig within the next year or so depending on a few factors. Cheers!
Thanks for recognizing my efforts.. !!
The build quality is phenomenal. Those crossovers.. mundorf mcap evo!! Absolutely beautiful.
Couldn't agree more!
Nice one Mikey…..thanks for all your time in capturing and sharing…😊 a great tour !
My pleasure!
Thanks so much for the tour, makes sense why the sounded so good when demo’d at your place. Amazing speakers!!!
You know it Rich... ;-)
Beautiful stuff, Mikey. It’s nice to see a company put that level of love and care in to their products to last a lifetime, instead of all this disposable crap made today with a purposeful shelf life, so you’re eventually forced into buying more when it inevitably breaks down and / or wears out.
For real, Nick ...
Damn i really have no words except that is absolutely impressive. Thanks for going through and taking the time to show us this journey for making these speakers, gives an immense amount of respect for what they do. Thanks Mikey!
You bet !
Damn. Those cabinets and crossovers are awesome.
For real ..
Another quality product line you bring to the tribe Rock ON who doesnt want a set of these speakers or two
Lol. Right ?
As someone who has read a lot about crossover parts those crossovers are 🔥🔥, insane value
You get it ... ;-)
Thanks for sharing. Impressive
Thanks for watching!
Nice work if you can get it! I'm just an hour or 2 away from McIntosh. I wanna finally try and get to do that tour at some point this summer. Bout time, all these tour vids from you & Jay lately are inspiring me.
It will be a good way to see how corporate, profit based manufacturing looks.
@@OCDHIFiGuy Brotha, id be willing to do some awful ish for the chance to Jet set around to some cool countries and tour cool bespoke brands, but for now im limited to places a nice days ride out on my bike will take me. I really dont know of many US based brands out here winding up their own transformers, thats fo sho, lol.
Outstanding reporting Mikey 🎉🎉
But… slate is not granite!
Anyways, truly epic European Hi-Fi tour - thanks a million 🙌
Did I say Granite ??? Shiiiiii
Great stuff, Mikey👍
Thanks Shane !
Sorry DIYers.......ref 10:20
The 180 uf Mundorf EVo silver , gold ,oil capacitors must be made just for Fischer & Fischer.
Parts connexcion and Hi Fi collective only go up to 100 UF ($480 US from parts connexcion.)
Mundorf website offers up to 150uf in this capacitor.
That section of the crossover EASILY will cost over $1500.00 US.
Great tour! I like the hammer demonstration
Thanks 👍
Mikey knows quality!
Is it sinking in ??? Thx !! 😊
It is nice to see the level of care they put into the parts they use and their manufacturing process. Really hand build old world craftsmanship.
Absolutely
Those 180uf Mundorf caps are beer can size, thanks for the tour
Yes they are! U bet !
Nice factory tour video! That Mundorf Mcap Evo capacitor lists for over $120US!
Where ? It's not available on the open market. The highest is 100uf for $480. Make sure you are looking up SILVER/GOLD film in oil...
@@OCDHIFiGuy I stand corrected. According to the Mundorf site, the highest value available is $406 USD for a 150uF, 250V version. 👇🏻

I have been using slate for turntables for over 15 years, great Material
There u go...
Great factory tour, incredible build quality, inside and out, bespoke quality 👌
We agree!
Wow ...simply amazing ! Thanks Mickey 👍
You bet !
No one likes a flamer in the machine shop.
Have a new appreciation for those speakers after seeing this video. I'm a Jig bore operater in a large injection mold shop.
Unless you're in S.F. 😉 Yes, amazing fabrication. No room for mistakes
Love the tours.
Thanks !
I wonder how many Grades/Levels of Polishing go into the Finished Product! Love their Dedication to Quality Mikey!✌️Heavy Duty Man
Pretty sure it's 4.. ;-) 😉
The board for the crossover, you are kidding me…😂
No doubt. Seriously heavy duty.
🤜🤛👊
Yeah baby
@@OCDHIFiGuy You are a good guy Mikey.Keep well.
Love the build vids!
Thankyou!
Glad you like them!
Thx for the tour! The love and care for the products these people have is amazing.
Absolutely!!
Thanks for sharing!!
My pleasure!!
I'm doubtful Danny would call those cheesy crossover parts
Exactly... he'd be laughed at.
Beauty crossovers wow! That’s the best I’ve ever seen from a factory speaker. Very nice!
Absolutely!
Give these crossovers to Danny (GR) and he will turn these slugs into real gems. He can fix any speaker.
I'm being sarcastic.
Lol. I know... ❤️
Great video OCD Mike and very impressive! When are you planning to be back stateside?
First day back !!
Great tour but those were some embarrassing hammers swings Mikey 😭
Lol. I envision Joe Pesci right now answering you... You calling me weak, you piece a s$!t ?
On a serious note, how hard is a 3lb sledge going to hit it in your house ?? My point was made. No chip will happen.
when are you going to show us the big boy 870s?
No such speaker. The 1000.1 ships to me this coming week.
You would have to go up to the crazy expensive borrenson M series to get that level of crossover ffs.
There u go...
Nice to see such care and attention to quality. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice tour, he took the time to explain how he seal it.
Yes
Incredible build quality. Great video
Glad you like it!
Yes,, but how do they sound?
Lol. How about I let you decide ? 😁
Wow, he dropped his speakers twice? Wow.
Lol. I know, right ?
Very impressive crossover components! Typical German overengineering. I thought I recognized the subwoofer as a Danish Satori driver, but who makes their AMT and other drivers?
Mundorf AMT. Different companies for the others
Where at?
Sauerland Germany
These speakers are very appealing.. But I haven't seen any externall review (outside DE) and as much as I trust Mickey's opinion , he is biased. How come no other review ???
Are you that naive that you actually believe there is such thing as unbiased reviews ? Wow. Let me open your eyes. Reviewers are paid by companies that receive advertising money from the manufacturer they are reviewing. Lone wolf youtubers are also paid for reviews or given product. In my case, I assess a brand and commit to it wholeheartedly with lots of money and signed legal agreements. So you're absolutely right I'm biased. I married the brand ! So choose your bias. From the guy with NO skin in the brand or the guy who married the brand. Either you trust me as an audio expert that shares your same tastes or you don't. Quit your dependence on paid reviewers to make up your own mind. Come and listen to these speakers then make up your OWN mind. What you are telling me is that all I have to do, is pay some reviewers for you to buy my brand. Lol. Sounds like you own a publishing company. For the group: relying on reviews and not your own experience is the biggest LIE you've ever been taught in HiFi...
Ocd make you money brother.
Cat's do it right! Impressive!
Yes they do !
Impressive😯
Agreed !
I don't care who you are or at what price point you are buying. When you are willing to commit a significant amount of your entertainment dollars on something, that is where an appreciation for quality and a lifelong sentimental attachment to an in-animate object comes from. In this particular case, this is no longer just a speaker, but rather a truly remarkable combination of engineering, craftsmanship and art. I would love to hear a pair of these one day. They may or not be my cup of tea when it comes to sound. that doesn't mean I don't appreciate quality.
Hopefully they let you put your initials on the inside for nostalgia.
BINGO. You get it loud and clear... or.. we could have robots cnc cut the speaker from mdf and spray paint it. Not an issue but know what you are buying to help you assess value.
This company was founded by Fred Flintstone
No. Fred was the Bronto crane operator. J.J. Granite (Slate) was the founder.
@@OCDHIFiGuy Ha HA .Freds boss was M.R. Slate , I remember that !
