I want to clarify that the name of the memorial is the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese Invaders, not the Massacre Memorial Hall. It commemorates the 300,000 people who died in that massacre, not the massacre itself.
You may not realize it, but the place you casually wandered through was the site of one of the most brutal and tragic events in recent history: the Battle of Nanjing during World War II and the horrific Nanjing Massacre that followed.
The reality is the river side is the outside of the city and the old building side is the inner side of the city. I have been in Nanjing during all my 4 year university period and Nanjing is like my 2nd hometown, you are so welcomed to Nanjing, guys
I visited NanJing City Wall last February and the most fascinating thing to me is that you could find the original wall bricks from 600+ years ago. And they have information of who made the brick when & where on them.
Nanjing is my hometown, welcome to Nanjing. The restaurant owner wants to explain to you one dish for two is enough,he doesn't want to waste. Jiming Temple only accepts nuns, located next to the famous Xuanwu Lake, I hope you can experience its beauty and look forward to your next vlog about Nanjing.👍👍👍
As a Malaysian who has lived in Nanjing for 15 years, I would say that it is a city with long history, warm-hearted people and rich culture 😊. Hope you enjoy your trip
It is suggested to climb Mount Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province. There is a high-speed railway from Nanjing to Mount Huangshan Station, which will let you remember for a lifetime. It is a very beautiful world cultural heritage.
I absolutely love watching your videos! Although I'm a Chinese person living in Europe, and my partner is European, I still enjoy seeing how you explore China from a foreigner's perspective, especially when you genuinely experience and immerse yourselves in the culture. Recently, I've been binge-watching all of your past videos every day. By the way, I’ve learned so much English from watching your videos, like when you’re eating and use so many adjectives to describe the texture of the food. But when it comes to me and my boyfriend, we’re just like, “Wow, delicious!” and then dive right into eating, haha!
OMG, I love Luke. I’ve lived overseas for more than 40 years. It’s the first time ever I see a white man eating chicken feet. Fantastic. You’re unique!
This is my home town. I grow up at the Southeast University as my grandparents were both from the University. 28:11 you passed by the University. Nanjing's summer is infamous for its unbearable heat. Keep in mind this is a city with 9-10 million population, and you do not see many people on the street. The heat is the reason. Nanjing is definitely one of the most developed cities in China. Apart from Beijing and Shanghai, Nanjing has (or one of?) the most "good" universities in China. You should try "素什锦" in Nanjing, that's my favourite.

Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Area and surrounding areas, including Wutong Avenue, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, and the surrounding amber. The scenic area is very large. It is recommended to rent an electric bicycle and spend two days. 5. City Wall Museum (daytime), Laomendong (daytime), Confucius Temple (nighttime), Zhanyuan (daytime and nighttime), time: one and a half days 6. Nanjing University campus, Deji Square to see the top toilets, from the first to the sixth floor, each floor has different. Mochou Lake (evening and nighttime), time: one day 7.
