My thoughts exactly. Pull the fuel line at the fuel tank and run the fuel line in a 5 gallon bucket and check for air. If no air, it’s the stand pipe.
What is that alarm at 4.18? would have annoyed the crap out of me having to drive with that sounding off all the time xD
Hey Bob check and change the two
o- rings on the rancor filter and when you tighten the cap don't kill it. Also put some grease around the o- ring.
Most likely your sucking air from the filter. Remember last thing touched.
First thing checked. Make sure o-rings are not doubled. Goodluck.

Run some super glue around the connections while the engine is running, as it gets sucked into the leak, it will instantly set, the industrial type is best, it sets in 3 seconds, and the bottle keeps for years in the refrigerator after opening.

@@harrykaminski9806 Diesel is not a good solvent for cyanoacrylate adhesive, so in a fine crack, that barely any diesel touches the adhesive, it will work fine.

Why do you catch the drone at the edge of the stern? If she drops it its in the water, why not have her like 5' towards the middle of the ship it would be just as easy to fly and a lot less risk.

I’m sorry but I’m so curious how three women get along for such a long time onboard. Women can be catty, you have two gay gals and one straight (I guess). Steph is a very cool girl, easy going and good sense of humor. I wonder if Bobby ever has to referee any disagreements. Also, Butyl tape around all connections until you can replace the line. Oh, one more thing Bobby, that stache’ has to go bro’. Great vids, keep em’ coming.
Never sleep on watch. Time for Captains Mast & possibly a keel-hauling.
In case you are unaware the punishment for falling asleep On Watch is "Walking the Plank" on the 1st offense; 2nd Offense is "Keel Hauling" coupled with restricted rations.
That’s lucky in the British army during active service it’s death and during peacetime a good kicking

I'm wondering if its a cracked tank pickup pipe that gets exposed at a lower fuel level? or maybe the stem packing on that ball valve?
That was my thought as well. The fuel pickup in the tank can get cracked up top from the weight of sloshing fuel and becomes exposed as the fuel level gets lower allowing air to be sucked in. You can perform a temp fix with a length of hose and a hose clamp!

Drone shots are great, I don't know if it might be better to stand a bit further forward when "catching it" so that if you mess it up it stands a chance of crashing on the stern rather than dropping in the water?

Asleep at watch gets a 5 gallon bucket of salt water to the face and the rest of the crew screaming in agony as a wake up call. That won't happen twice.

Watch is life and death. The importance should be made clear. Could collide with a vessel, a partially submerged shipping container, or have an onboard fire.

It’s a boarding handle. Also, I’ve seen them sometimes used as a shore power cord holder.

Flying fish are great fried crispy, we got a lot on deck one night at sea, so we had fresh fish to eat, instead of canned corned beef.
Sleeping on watch reminds me of those people caught sleeping while driving down the highway in their Tesla.

I like when you show how you fix all these little/big issues that inevitably arise with boat ownership.
And Bobby is pretty skilled at presenting the diagnosis-to-repair story, with a beginning, middle and end, as well as some failure filmed (tension!) before successfully solving the issue.

I don’t think the dog is comfortable enough to spend it’s days at sea. Great bladder control but I’ve heard it can cause various conditions over the long term. I think one is problems with the kidneys. A Bahama Mama onboard is worth two on the dock… at least that’s what I’ve heard.😊😉

could be the valve leaking through the handle in the open position. Considering all the sediment being pulled through.
I’m going to agree. That valve turned pretty easy. Might try tightening the nut on the valve handle and see if that secures the ball in the valve. Great video

Crew members that fall asleep on watch are put off in first port. Endangers boat, crew, and possibly other boats and crews.

Your fuel tanks for the generator need to be electropolished assuming they are stainless. It’s a bummer you have to spend so much time on the genny.

That glass housing is a sediment bowl not your filter. It does filter out some junk making it settle to the bottom but thats not your main filter. Not sure if you know that, there should be any actual fuel filter on that Genny. Cheers !

take your connectors off and re-tape, add plumbers paste, little messy, no bubbles, no troubles. Oh and use ptfe tape not just white teflon, use gas tape, big difference
