Good info! I've run spacers for about 5 years of daily driving including several track days with no issues except for them sticking to the rotors. So I did put anti-seize on the whole back and hub after that. I have Eibach 20mm spacers on the rear and the 25mm Coyote ones from American Muscle on the front. I'll be removing them soon as I need to do the brakes after 53k miles, so hopefully they come off easily! They are one of the best appearance mods for the money we can do to our cars!
Wow your timing is impeccable. I have been watching your videos lately and my concern was how safe the wheel spacers are but couldn’t find good video. Love the look of the gt with the spacers. Appreciate the video!!
@@CanadianCruisin definitely! I’m taking it easy nothing crazy. I went with the Eibach 25mm Pro-Spacer Hubcentric Wheel Spacers (15-22 Mustang) from American Muscle. Just placed my order.
I just received my spacers from CJ pony. I need to get your honest opinion about them since you have them on your car. Did you have any problems with any of your suspension parts wearing out such as your bearings. They say the spacers will wear out the parts faster is that true.
Large spacers an negative offset wheels will wear on the camber angle and prematurely eat at wheel bearings/ hubs. Hp ok s also something else to factor in. Are they safe? Of course not, but you do you. And when i see you by the side of the road missing a wheel, I'll yell "hay, you can't park there"! 😂
♥️One important note: Once you hit a certain HP/TQ number, beadlock wheels may be required to keep the wheel attached to the tire, right? Well, With Spacers, if you have enough HP/TQ (I don't know the exact threshold, but) you CAN 'deform' or damage the spacers or bolts, which can lead to a catastrophic event. If i were a betting man, i'd wager a Shelby GT500 or a Hellcat should NOT run spacers. A Honda Accord, probably fine. Great video! 👍cheers
Get the good spacers. Don’t get $15 spacers. I Ave them on my 4x4 Tacoma and wheeled all over my state. I have them on my ‘16 Mustang GT and have hit many mountain roads with no issues

Agreed. And next time I put them on I'll definitely put anti seize just to make it a little less of a headache getting it off
Can’t speak for the mustang but my truck has had spacers on it for a few years zero issues
As long as we don't be crazy on the road it's just fine 🔥
It's not just temperature change, dissimilar metals causes electrolysis

Definitely. Since this car is pretty close to stock power it's fine but anything running big hp or trq better just get new wheels to handle the load
@@CanadianCruisin Love the channel & the Coyote brother! 💪💪

Did you get your alignment done right after ??
I never aligned it after the spacers. Only after the car was lowered.
What brand are those spacers and where did you order them from?

It depends if they carry the right ones for your car

@@212doberman spacer nuts to 120 and wheels still to the 150
@@CanadianCruisin I've been looking for this info cause I'm about to buy these myself, your video and this comment convinced me, thanks!
First! Yessss!
Nailed it again
Did spacers mess with your camber?
Not at all.
I’ve had some for 2 years no issues yet 🛞👍🏼
Mine will go back on with the winter tires eventually 💪
