When I had gastric bypass surgery over 20yrs ago I was never told to avoid NASIDs. In 2010 I had to have emergency surgery for a perforated ulcer at the sight of my pouch which the surgeon said I almost died. I have not touched anything but Tylenol since then and very seldom take anything at all if I can help it...
