    I began having many food sensitivities. It got to the point where it seemed like no matter what I ate it made me feel really sick. I didn't have heartburn I didn't have any acid reflux. But when my stomach would start to hurt it would just continue to hurt and I would feel very nauseous. It also seems like I never digest my food that 3 days later I can see what I ate coming out in my constipated stool. If I went to bed even 3 hours after eating I would aspirate and that scared me. So if I ate and I felt really sick I just forced myself to throw up. The food tasted the same coming up as it went down so I wasn't getting any acid in this. I did this for years. I'm also play goodbye irritable bowel disease and diverticular disease. If I'm not going regularly then I am constipated. I never have diarrhea. So between throwing up and straining with diarrhea I believe that I pushed my stomach up into my chest area. I finally found that I am allergic to garlic and onions and green chili and ginger and lemon and MSG and BHT the biggest offenders that make me feel very sick. of course garlic is in almost everything so now I just cook fresh food for myself and the nausea has stopped and I don't have to make myself throw up anymore

    • @pamelaevancha4337
      @pamelaevancha4337 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had an endoscopy done and found that over 25% of my stomach is in my chest. My symptoms are severe back pain. After eating it becomes a 10, otherwise it always is at about a pain level of a three. It also pushes on my diaphragm and my lungs so I can't really do anything, before I am wounded and exhausted and then that makes my back start to hurt more too. It also is pushing on my heart and my heart has weird palpitations and my blood pressure goes all over the place. I went to the emergency room when my blood pressure hit 200 over 100 but I was told after many tests that my heart was absolutely fine it was just being pressured by the hernia.

    • @pamelaevancha4337
      @pamelaevancha4337 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't seem to get my doctor to believe me. He said he's done thousands of these where there was all of the stomach and intestines up in there and it didn't cause back pain that's just referred. I guess I don't see what the difference is referred or not it hurts it hurts real bad. And I don't understand how when something like 25% of your stomach goes up into your chest cavity where there's absolutely no room at all why my doctor doesn't understand that it is definitely pressing on my spine. I can feel it. Also that spot on my spine is a weak spot that has hurt hurt me since I had my first baby. That spot on my back has always felt numb. It is the exact spot corresponding where the hiatus is. Anyway I don't have acid reflux I don't have heartburn I don't have gerd I wish I could get my doctor to believe me. I don't use antacids. Over the last 2 months since I've been waiting to have all of the different tests so I can get this fixed I have lost 30 lbs. I can't eat hardly anything so I just keep losing weight. At what point does a person become an emergency? one year ago I was in the emergency room because my back pain was so great I couldn't walk I couldn't breathe I couldn't move. Play CT scan me from the top of my head to the tip of my toe and said I was unremarkable except for the fact that I can't eat or poop. That was when they found the large hiatal hernia but they never linked it to my back! Maybe back pain is rare but it definitely should be listed as one of the symptoms and not poo pooed!!!!

    • @pamelaevancha4337
      @pamelaevancha4337 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also I had to fight really hard to not have the bravo test done. I didn't feel that it was necessary I also was afraid that it would get stuck in it in one of my diverticular I don't eat food that can get stuck in there and that little device was quite big and could really get stuck and I'm already having to dig the poop out of my butt half the time. And I know he really wants to do that surgery where he wraps the stomach around my hiatus and it'll make it so I can never throw up! I have to be so careful about the food that I eat and even Campbell's tomato soup come to find out has garlic oil in it. And if I made a mistake like that and ate something and I wasn't able to make myself throw up I can't tell you how sick I would be. I see my doctor on the 20th and I know that I'm going to have to fight to not have this part of the surgery done. I guess I'm looking for some advice some support. Frustrated in New Mexico.

    Stimulating the vagus nerve causes weight loss. 7 steps to stimulate : 1. Wash face with cold water. Fill mouth with water. 2. Alternate hot and cold water. Count to 10 and change. 3. Humming and gargling. 4. Deep breathing 5. Intermittent fasting 6. Massage or acupressure 7. Walk in nature 🏃‍♀️🌳

    Very interesting! I feel intuitively, my Vagus nerve is very important in most of my symptoms. Thank you for this clip. However, I can't do some of the 7 points. Intermittent fasting, long walk, can't do floor yoga, coz I can't sit down n get up, or bend n go down on my knees. I have diabetes 2. I have always had Mediterranean diet. Don't smoke or drink. But I have lots of pain in the areas that Vagus nerve passes. I can't even sit for an hour on a chair, as I want to get up, the back of my upper leg hurts so bad, I can't walk for a minute, until it calms down. I'm in NZ, we don't have specialized expertise in the health system, we are short of medical staff n doctors. Pls tell me, how else I can help my body n Vagus nerve. By the way, I am allergic to antibiotics, penicillin, painkillers, statin, metformin, n most pharmaceutical drugs. I only take Jardiance for diabetes 2, n many natural meds / supplements. Thanks again. Neli

      Hi Neli, maybe you could try gentler yoga styles that don’t require you to get onto the floor. Talk to an experienced yoga teacher. There are so many different variations. They can provide you with a practice that suits your body. I also recommend breathing exercises (pranayama). They are very easy to learn and then do them on your own. And they have e the most beautiful effect on your nervous system and whole body. It provides all your cells with oxygen and energy. If you dan‘t go on a long walk, go on a short one. It is important to be outside, have contact with nature, the sun, ground yourself. And I’d also recommend mediation and EFT tapping (just google it, it works wonders). Also look for alternative healing techniques. NZ has such a rich culture heritage, there might be so much/ more than conventional medicine. All the best! I once was in a similar place and I know you can reclaim your health back. We‘re so much more powerful than we think. ❤
