You translate "pasta al forno" as "lasagna". It is not exactly the same thing. Lasagna is quite similar, but this kind of pasta is made with eggs and it's a specific one. Instead, you can prepare pasta al forno with every kind of pasta you want: penne, rigatoni, fusilli, tortiglioni etc... You can also change other ingredients in pasta al forno, for example, you can add aubergines (in the USA they're called eggplants) or don't put tomato sauce in... Obviously it changes according to different people's tastes :) After this quick cooking lesson ( hahhahahah ), I'd like to say I'm very glad there are people who love Italian and want to learn it. I love languages and I study French, English and Spanish at the University. Easy Languages is very useful for us, languages' lovers :D :D PS: Sorry if I made some mistakes writing in English xD
I am dutch but learned to cook in a rural restaurant in Tuscany, Pasta al forno is my favourite when I have a lot of guests, to avoid the "veloce veloce la pasta si scuoce' stress. Penne al forno are very easy. I often make a halal version with agnello macinato because I have a very good turkish butcher, and pecorino in stead of parmigiano.
@@valeriyawhem2733 hey, are you still looking for someone to practice Italian with? If yes, I'm up for it! (I'm learning Italian for quite some times now and haven't put it into practice yet)

I've just begun learning Italian from a few days and I loved this video. It was nice to know that I could understand some of the Italian without looking at the english subtitles.
i am thinking which language to study after i learn Spanish , French or Italian after watching the videos here, now i know i would choose Italian. it is beautiful and a lot of words similar to Spanish ones, easier to pronounce than French
I am learning the exact same languages. And I agree Spanish and Italian have some very similar words and conjugations. But Portugese (Brazilian portugese) and Spanish are even more similar. It's hard to tell the difference between languages when you're a beginner, aside from the accents, those make it pretty clear. But just reading it, is like trying to seperate twins (until you are more advanced, then it's easy).
+Clay Kim Spanish has words which sound like Italian but have another meaning. For example 'burro' means 'butter' in Italian but ... donkey in Spanish! 'Buscar' means 'look for something' in Spanish and in Italian we have 'buscare' which means 'to get'. When I was in Spain I was soon totally confused. Many words sound just like ours but the meaning is so different! French is much easier for us and there are no such problems as in Spanish. ;)
Clay Kim In Italian 'frequentare' can also be used to say that one meets other people regularly. The sound and meaning of most words in both languages is ridiculously similar. It is easy to associate many words and learn quickly.;)
Great! I'm learning Italian, and making slow progress!! But these videos really help by hearing how normal Italians speak everyday conversation...not with an English/American accent. Molto grazie e ciao
