I wanted to let you know I am a complete beginner and have successfully made 3 pairs of these for holiday gifts. Thanks for such an easy, adorable, beginner-friendly video!
I had the same issue!!! It looked like Herman Munster's Bootie! I halved the number of stochastic in the original circle and then made the number of rows before the heel based on trying it on my foot. Hope that helps.
OMG I love these slipper socks, been looking for a tutorial to do a pair I’ve finally fallen on one, there easy to follow and easy enough for a beginner highly recommend doing this project and they don’t take that long to do, thank you for a great tutorial.
This was fun. At first I thought you had the wrong size hook, but it was I who had Bernat "Blanket" yarn which was super bulky. Got through it and now have VERY cushiony slippers. So comfy.
@@tinadoughton6264 yes, and some left over. Wearing them now. they are toasty warm but keep stretching out. I would make them to fit snug next time. 22 instead of 27, 14 rows instead of 18, and then at the heal, I decreased rows to round up the heel, otherwise I was tripping over it.
I just start this slippers for my 92 year old cousin. She can wear them in bed when it gets very cold..thanks for your explanation you are so good at it . Blessings.
You spoke perfectly slow enough for me to follow and you showed stitch by stitch. I want to thank you for making it so easy to follow along. Not many people make it easy to follow.
This pattern is amazing!! Took me about 30 minutes per shoe. Super easy to follow and also easy to add or take away a few rows to make a custom fit for different sizes. I love it !!
Something I found helpful for those with smaller feet is to decrease the amount of rounds before getting to the heel (i used 12 rounds excluding the first 3 starting rounds), as well as slightly decreasing the stitch count for those rounds from 27 to say 25. I would put the sock on my foot to gauge how big it was
This is such a simple design and I love it. Your explanation of how to do this has allowed me to make any size slipper with any size yarn. I can easily custom make a set for all 6 of my grandkids for Christmas. Thanks so much!!
I've tried other tutorials and your tutorials are the best by far. You're such a good teacher. You speak slowly enough to follow and explain the steps very clearly. Thank you so much!
These slippers are so easy! Thank you so much! I am a beginner and you made the instructions easy and slow enough to follow. I'm left handed so life is hard enough. My first pair and they came out great!
I decreased the first 8 crochets into the magic circle down too 4 crochets and managed to make my 4 year old a pair of these shes a uk infant size 10 😍 there amazing thankyou
Thankyou so much. I made these for my daughter and added a cute little button to the ankle fold. They were so easy and quick to make. Everyone is getting a pair for Christmas. I wish I could upload a photo
Mine also came out very large. If you stop increasing at the round with 16 SC and follow the pattern that way it fits better. For the heel part do 5 SC back and forth if you use this size.
Omg you are the best! I’ve been knitting and crocheting my whole life but struggle with the turns. You really explained it better than I’ve seen… or maybe it just finally clicked. THANK YOU

Thanks for a great pattern! I love these booties!!! Super easy and fast and so comfy! I have small feet so used a 5.5 mm hook for bottom portion in all single crochet. I used Big Twist Hush (bulky 5) which works up a bit stiffer than the Bernat so I switched to a 6.0 mm for top part and did all double crochet on top. Great instructions and easy to follow.
