Everytime I watch these videos I´m shocked. What do these people think driving in this kind of water? Do they think at all? I really don´t know. A normal IQed person wouldn´t drive through these floods unless he has a vehicle dedicated and equipped for wading through waters. Risking my car like that would never be a thing I would do.
@@wykydytron Isn´t that scary to know that people are allowed to drive but don´t have the simplest sense on what they can do with a car and what not? If common sense doesn´t help these people to not ruin their cars I think they shouldn´t drive at all. How can they be trusted in traffic to do the right things?
That was a problem I had with my Honda Civic, it would begin to float and lose traction, but I soon fixed that by removing the bungs in the floor to let it sink down far enough to get a good grip on the ground 🤗 no worries 👍
It is very important to push this cool bow wave in front of you. Otherwise it won't work. The water has to penetrate properly to the air filter intake. But most of them manage this and make us happy. True heroes! The others, who drive far too carefully and slowly for the water to penetrate properly, are really boring!

What's going on with the BMW at 13:39 ? The front wheels are being towed, the rear are turning backwards. Is that what happens if you tow a 4WD in gear with the engine locked ?
The floaters need a rudder attachment to go on their back bumpers. Perhaps tow bar mountable, or a strap on type. Possibly a rope & pulley system, to operate from the drivers window or sunroof? Sure go the whole hog & put a few sails on the roof. Mount it on the roof rack.
8:30 FYI, on a sprinter van the towing eye & jack are under the floor @ the front passenger's feet. You release the plastic cover with a coin or screwdriver. With this being a bus, there is no conventional passenger front seat.
I’m amazed by the poor decisions and poor knowledge of some of these professional drivers. No awareness of the implications of wading with a vehicle and little to no post wading recovery experience.

Excellent compilation. Surprising that most drivers still go through water over 3 feet deep. Then driving too fast and flooding the engine. That car taking out the spark plugs was clever but there was a lot of water in that engine.
I once had an old merc 190d .. and drove it slowly through a flooded road up to the door handles, but i knew the air intake was at the top of the engine. It certainly impressed the coppers who had closed the road.
The Ingenium engine in that Jag F-Pace was bound to fail in the near future anyway. Causing it to ingest a few gallons of filthy river water is just hastening the inevitable.
