I have been working on ARL for a couple months and while I can do "okay" at some workshop maps I haven't yet made the transition with car control when existing ARL to hit a shot at any angle. Maybe these will help, thanks for the video.
It definitely takes practise, maps with slaloms like the one near the beginning of the video are really good for improving Aerial Control as well so be sure to include them if you're on Steam.

I felt like the movements where happening too quickly and i kept blacking out. Which is fine, but when your whole session is just blackouts it can be very daunting. Then while watching a tutorial on dribbling and they said its good to do it in slowmo a thought bubble happenes . With bakkesmod you alter the time even when in workshop maps. I started aerial training at .7 and worked my way up incrementally to normal speed . It helped me so much and i hope the same for you :)

All you need is the custom map launcher, you can get it from Lethamyr's website (as well as all his rings maps). If you want to get any other map, all you need to do is use steamworkshopdownloader.io - this will give you a map file from any Steam Workshop URL/page I'm on Epic Games and have Bakkes Mod, Custom Steam Maps including all rings + aim training and other Steam Workshop maps
Hey man, how does your camera adapt so fast to the change of direction? Mine takes a lot to look in the direction I am heading when I reach the wall and turn around.
There's actually a slider in your 'Camera Settings', I think it's something like 'Transition Swivel Speed', move that around and it should speed up your camera.

This takes some to learn, start off slow, don't try to do it all at once as you won't be able to. If you're struggling, try an easier drill, you can fly upwards and keep your car in the air as straight up as possible, you'll have to make small adjustments every time it starts to lean. Try to master this first, I'll be making a new video on aerial control so that should help as well.
It's vital to improve aerial control if you want to rank up, around 98% of RL players use a controller, it's a lot easier. You can do this on the keyboard but I'm not sure how hard it is.
These are for when you've got the hang of basic flying and want to improve your control. If you're a complete beginner just try to the basic aerial training where the ball is frozen in the air and you aerial to it.

Sideways aerials just confuses the hell out of me. I just can’t seem to grasp that part, especially when I use ball cam.
That's probably the hardest bit about car control, I struggled with them a lot starting off, just keep practicing and you'll slowly see improvements.

@@meeker810 Yea repeat the same drills and take your time, they will be harder to do in the Workshop map as there's a lot of turning.
Would you recommend using directional air roll buttons for these drills or just standard air roll?
It's totally down to preference, I use standard air roll and have never used directional. Try both and see what feels good.
I cant get the hang over the controls flipping when you air roll

How do you air roll so faat
I'm just using normal air roll, cars have different rotation speeds so it can depend on what car you're using.
How do i steer my car with manual air roll? Left and right just keeps me spinning and up and down is the same
To steer the car you have to stop pressing Air Roll, only press air roll when you need to make adjustments to your cars rotation.

Keep practicing! Slowly you'll start to see improvements, they won't be instant but every time you fail, you imrove.
