I have been watching your creations for a while now. I have always wanted to learn woodturning myself but I have never had the place to set up a decent lathe.
I want you to know your work really is an inspiration for me to pursue my woodturning ideas.
Due to some major changes recently I am going to be moving to beautiful part of the southwest of England to live with my lifelong friend and his wife.
We are going to convert one their stone built barns into a very large multi use workshop, it's going to have an area for all my carpentry tools and finally I'm going to have enough room to get myself a lathe !
It will be another year before it's all set up but I can't wait.
In the meantime I look forward to watching your fantastic work, it's very relaxing.

At the start my imagination ran wild, was it a meat tenderising mallet, a decorative mushroom, a fancy doorstop or even a hookah. The forstner bit came out and I became nervous that the neck of the vase would snap off, thankfully it did not and then I felt remorse for doubting your skill. At the end we were presented with a quite elegant and beautiful vase, piece of art. The colours are very complementary to the black filler, the bronze resin is very striking. Again my admiration for your talent is reinforced, well done Morgan, be safe and well my friend. 👍 Thank you for posting 👍

Despite what some people might think, that is so nice Morgan i love it! I don’t know for sure but I imagine that bamboo is not the easiest wood for lathe work. You were also very brave when you started drilling the top section of the vase. Congratulations to you 👍🏻.
